TEST DRIVE MEME
> The Park. Man, what a nice day out. Why not enjoy it? I'm sure -- shit, yep, there's some echo monsters.
> The Mall. Exactly what it says on the tin! Dodge the hordes of teenage mallrats or take part, whichever suits your tastes.
> Rainy Day. Agh, it's fucking awful out. And is it raining those vermilion things?? Now you've got an Echo to contend with on top of everything else. Find some shelter, quick!

Mind you, she is very thankful for still being alive. But.
Have a video of a tall blond, kind of pretty but also scary looking woman in her late twenties on a video feed, glaring menacingly at you {she's actually just nervous, but that just tends to look more like she wants to kill someone on her face and posture}.]
Has anyone else got this? [By "this" she means the arrow stuck in her head, which clearly pierced her skull and entered at least a centimetre deep, yet seems to not impact her ability to speak, walk around and well, live, at all. There isn't even all that much blood in her hair.]

[She reaches up but hesitates before touching it
because it does hurt, and moving it hurts more.] Some kid practised in his room across the street.
[Also that is some scarring dress that you are wearing. Not that it is her primary concern right now, but even with her lack of fashion sense that is kind of obvious.]

I do believe they even make house calls.

Do you have any numbers?
[Because there is no reason to not cut straight to the point here.]

How does she even ask for help with this. She doesn't really want to have anyone do something about it, because what if she is only not dead because it hit her at the perfect angle and removing it would really kill her? But if not... if this is really an echo, which she cannot but assume that it is, she can impossibly go to a normal hospital or doctor.
Awkward staring all around. She's not going to eat you, promise.]
Any ideas?

You don't remember being - ah - a monster that eats humans, do you? [Because if she is a titan removing it shouldn't hurt her, but also he's not sure he wants to help her.]
no subject
that much?]No.
[Staring intensifies.] Why?
no subject
Yes!Especially when she glares more and Armin squirms uncomfortably. Now he's probably offended her, but was there really a better way to ask?]I just thought that if you were it probably wouldn't do any damage to just pull it out! Ah - but what ever you were you clearly couldn't be killed so pulling it out probably isn't a good idea if it hurts, but I don't think it'd kill you. Not if it hasn't already.
Do you know what kind of arrow it is? [He scrambles to find pictures for her.] Is it barbed like an old fashioned one or a modern day target shooting one? Because if it's barbed you really shouldn't pull it out, you'll cause more damage that way.

Light movements, she does not want to upset the arrow because that hurts.]
It's too deep in.
[And that explanation... would make sense if she understood the connection between human-eating monster and and not being killed by arrows. That sounds not like a favourable connection.]
Who's these monsters? [She has no memories of her pre-incarnation, and though she doubts that she was something like that, asking can't hurt.]
no subject
You might have to cut the shaft off as close to the skin as possible and leave it, then. Unless there's someone who can cut it out for you.
no subject
[At least none that she had noticed, and that should have been obvious enough around her head, right?]
It hurts. [Her expression turns into a deep frown.] And it might dig in deeper over time. [She needs to get it out. Just does not know how, and who would do that without asking questions, and the American health system worries her anyway, and then...
...and then she just wanted to see if this was a problem that someone had had before.]
