Questions Meme
This is a meme in which you TALK FOREVER. How it goes:
1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.
5. Have a lot of fun! ♥
This game is a fun way to get to talk to people, headcanon, and learn things you didn't know before! Because it involves gives and take, it can go quite a while and everyone can participate and possibly make friends.
Here is an example.

Which was quite a lot of convoluted words for "I like zombies" but alas.
Least favorite part is I s'pose naturally is the limitation of IC mobility! He cannot stumble into the same things someone who can actually safely go outside and any intent he could ICly have to partake in tasks and the like is easily also-ICly vetoed. XD
That said I pass the puck and asssk~ How did you choose in what ways to make Axel and Alistair differ from their past selves? Or did you not actively work toward the differences and they simply naturally came up as you figured their backgrounds?

... To answer your actual question: I had the basic differences in Axel's personality worked out when I began. The rest came as I shaped his background.
ALISTAIR, on the other hand, was a very different story. I built his background first, and I tried my best to make it a plausible modern-day reflection of his preincarnation's (pre and early Origins) story. His time in the Chantry was replaced by after-school activities and football. The Grey Wardens were replaced by special operations — specifically Pararescue, because they're who's called when spec ops needs rescuing. The defeat at Ostagar became the mission in which his team was captured, and he was the only survivor. The differences came primarily from the people who weren't there: namely, Duncan and the Warden. So, for Alistair, it was background first, differences second.
YOUR TURN!
What do "Cinderarity" and Anthony do during their free, completely non-numbers-associated time?
