Questions Meme
This is a meme in which you TALK FOREVER. How it goes:
1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?

This game is a fun way to get to talk to people, headcanon, and learn things you didn't know before! Because it involves gives and take, it can go quite a while and everyone can participate and possibly make friends.

Characterization-wise I don't really have too much that's specific...I'd like for her to make a lot of friends and put herself on the line for those who are a little more standoffish, I'd looove for her to have awkward makeout times when she gets her language absorption back, and having her geek out about science is surprisingly adorable. A lot of stuff that I'd really like involve castmates who aren't currently here atm, so there's a lot of heavy sighing and MAYBE SOMEDAYing about this stuff, haha.
What was Maggie's childhood like? How'd she do in school, did she have any close friends, stuff like that.

Maggie's childhood was alright. Her mother was...not intentionally forgetful but a bit self absorbed so a lot of times she was by herself or ended up getting into trouble. Classes were never a problem and she had a small group of friends but no one she was ever super close to. At least not as this point, I'm willing to keep it open in case anyone would ever want to take up that role.
She mostly absorbed herself in her studies and didn't go out too much since a lot of times she was tending after her mother. So it could have been better? But it could also have been much worse.
And since the other question was just a small thing: How does she feel about the Numbers Club so far?

Kara is actually really psyched about the Numbers Club, haha. She comes from a very large family (nine brothers+parents) so she's kind of missed that chaotic activity that comes from living with that many people since coming to Locke; she's kind of hoping that she can becomes friends with the Numbers people and they can kind of be her family away from home.
Even though she's aware of the danger going on through the FAQ and the recent posts about the Blood Keys and the like, Kara can't help but find the whole thing really exciting. It's exactly like something out of the movies she binged on before leaving home, and she feels really strongly that if she has the capability to do something about the bad things happening then she absolutely should.
She hasn't gone through any painful echoes (yet) or gotten herself into some real trouble, so we'll see if that excitement continues long-term.
Going to sort of turn that question back on you since it's a good one, haha. How's Maggie been dealing with all this reincarnation and magic network stuff? Any unfortunate echoes yet?

Kara's approach to it all though is pretty great. It's nice to see some taking a more optimistic approach to it. For Maggie herself she's not quite as gung-ho, mainly because there is so much left unanswered. Right now that is her primary goal and she doesn't want to get directly involved. The main thing that is keeping her from just trying to ignore it is the fact that there seemed to be a lot of kids involved, and thus in danger, and she is having none of that. For now she is starting to get into things more subtly by helping Elian with his stories. Overall though? She wishes she could in good conscious not be a part of it because who knows what is really happening here.
SO SEVEN SIBLINGS DAMN. Where did Kara fall in this, agewise? How'd she get along with them?

Aww, poor Maggie. Hopefully that guilt doesn't come back to bite her in the ass someday.
I am not 100% on the age lineup yet since I'm still debating whether to have a brother or two younger than her, but Kara is definitely on the young side of the spectrum whether or not she ends up the absolute youngest.
She gets along really well with her brothers - Kara is not only younger than them but she's also the only girl, so in a lot of ways she's the baby of the family. Her brothers dote on her a lot, but at the same time they're still brothers and Kara is a very willful person; she spent most of her childhood roughhousing with them and working alongside them on the farm, so while they adore her and would do anything for her they also know that she's more than capable of taking care of herself.
They're all very warm and affectionate with each other, albeit kind of. Extremely loud, haha. It's something that Kara really misses about being home, because she's used to both that benign chaos and being hugged and kissed and jokingly tossed over people's shoulders all the time. It's been the most difficult thing for her to adjust to here in America, because that huge safety net isn't physically present anymore.
Her family is incredibly supportive and stupidly proud of Kara's aspirations, and it's part of why she's so driven to succeed. Her brothers aren't stupid by any stretch of the imagination, but their interests have typically been agriculturally-minded and not many of them went on to college. Kara wants to show them that all their faith and sacrifice is worth it, because she loves them so much.
She talks with her whole family every day, even though it means that she has to get up at stupid o'clock because of timezones. The Skype chats are usually crowded and filled with a lot of screaming in Ukrainian, which is unnerving to outside spectators but it's all affectionate.
What's Maggie's writing process like? How does she prep for a book, what weird habits does she have to help her write, stuff like that.

Her name is intentionally long to kind of reflect on the ridiculousness of the Tamaranean language. Apollinariya is a feminine form of Apollo, which I thought was fitting considering her starbolts. Volodymyrivna is her patronymic, which I chose partially because it was one of the few I was absolutely positive was constructed correctly and because it meant her father's name is Vladimir ahaha. Miroshnychenko is simply one of the longer semi-common Ukrainian surnames out there. I had a few other options that were longer but I went with this one because it's more obviously Ukrainian with the -chenko ending.
Did you have any alternate ideas for Kotetsu's reincarnation than the one you chose or were you set from the beginning?

I was pretty set on the police officer idea from the beginning! However, there were definitely some changes from the initial drafting stages to the final product, as I filled in the details and created the linkages from "troubled youth" to "police officer". I also initially intended to play his current life situation almost straight-to-canon in terms of tension and awkwardness with his daughter, but then I decided I'd be depriving myself of some great echoes and changed it and realized that that version worked a lot better with his STE personality.
also as a joke at one point i considered Kotetsu being a struggling actor but it was never a serious idea
what's her opinion on the reincarnations of her castmates so far?

She doesn't really have any of particular note yet! Kara's sort of made friendly acquaintances with Raven/Rachel after bumping into her at the gym, but they're not close enough yet that she really thinks much of her beyond her usual FRANDS WITH EVERYONE 8D outlook. Brooke/Terra she hasn't run into yet, and I don't thiiiiink I ever made concrete plans with Plus about Tim/Robin but if our pre-app babble holds up she's similarly friendly with him since they both go to Locke U.
She's actually got stronger opinions on some of the people who she's met on the network, haha. It's pretty funny how that works out, although I'm sure as time goes on it'll change, especially since pending approval she just echoed back all the core Titans' names.
Any echoes/scenarios you're looking forward to in the future? Kinda piggybacking off your previous answer a little.
