Questions Meme

This is a meme in which you TALK FOREVER. How it goes:

1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.

This game is a fun way to get to talk to people, headcanon, and learn things you didn't know before! Because it involves gives and take, it can go quite a while and everyone can participate and possibly make friends.

How did you come up with Emmanuel's name?

By being terribly uncreative, actually. There's a point in the show where Cas dies (this is hardly a spoiler now since all the main characters have died and come back multiple times, sigh) and is brought back to life with no memories. He's found by a woman who takes him in and names him Emmanuel. (she's pretty religious) then he discovers he can heal people by touching them (he has no idea he's an angel) and does faith healing for a while. (albeit actually legit faith healing.) Then his old life catches up with him and eventually he regains his memory, but yes.

"Hall" was basically the first generic surname that popped into my head. I wanted it to be short since his first name is so long, and it flowed.

what made you decide to give Julien a sister and not a brother?

Hah, cool! Good old amnesia-plots.

I'm not sure! It might have been just to maximize the contrast between her and Yuuya's brother. And I wanted female NPCs to be important to Jules.

If you hadn't taken Casmanuel here, who might you have picked?

hmm, thinking back to when I initially apped, I was thinking about Daja from Circle of Magic and Lambda from Graces as well. The latter I passed on because I felt like two powerful eldritch abominations was too many in one game, though if course after seeing some combo apps in action I considered apping him with Richard. That fell through for various reasons, but yes.

Daja I've never quite been able to pin down a voice for, as much as I love her. It's frustrating. Looking at the type of characters I play, I might actually be more suited to Briar or Sandry.

Yeah, that's always frustrating. /sighs at Mara Jade

Julien doesn't have a strong favorite! He doesn't particularly care for chocolate, it's sort of cloying, and he doesn't like things too sweet. Might favor coffee and mint flavors... He likes ice cream in general when he goes and has some with people, but he usually wouldn't just get some for himself.

Hah, it seems to be a trend with me that the characters I pick up on a whim I do the best with, but the ones I really want to play...nope.

Probably young, in middle or high school, but he would've been way too shy to say anything. That and having an overbearing Catholic father made things...awkward.

Yeah... Feels like early on I could go "Oh, this character seems cool" and pick them up, but now I can't anymore!
