WHAT A SHIT. Skyler Veracruz is a high school senior, a one time bully and still overall unpleasant individual who's out for himself and his family in a cruel, uncaring Locke City environment. He's getting the memories of one of the most happiest, friendliest people ever conceived, and he's really getting unhappy about that because who wants Sora in their head. Seriously. DiZ.

And he's a Blood Key now? I guess. :o

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His extended family is still appable, but I'll have to put a bar on Arielle Veracruz. :( She's really growing into her own, and I'm not sure if anyone wants the baggage I've put on the character. Otherwise, I've had several people reach out to me with regards to wanting some bully-victim cr, and so far those interactions have panned out well. :) Killian came on as a friend Skyler met outside of school with his former group of troublemaker friends, so anything along those lines is more than welcome! Any incoming Blood Keys should holler at me or Helene's mun as well! If you've got plans, let me at 'em.

Open/Wanted CR: GIRLS. YOU HAVE THE POWER TO STOP SKYLER. IT IS WITHIN YOUR GRASP. Because he is literally incapable of saying no to girls, because he's part Sora. All kidding aside, he does tend to get along more easily with girls around his age or younger because he's actually a squishy loser, so if you want your character to have an overprotective delinquent on their side, please let me know! I've got some great dad figure son figure stuff going on as well. Those are just the relationships I know work, but we can always discuss other types!

NEGATIVE CR IS MY LIFEBLOOD. If your character truly wants to be catty or bitter with someone, Skyler is an excellent choice.

Other Info: Uuuuuh well he is sort of a cyborg gang member now! I have at least two plots where people are going to find out about it (Danny and Holly I am looking straight into your eyes), but no real plans to out him to the network. I would LOVE to have some consequences for his behavior, though! Close CR crumbling into pieces is music to my ears. OuO If you want anything with regards to Blood Key shenanigans, let me know!

He is also sort of turning into Sora so please go into CR with him knowing he will eventually get better. This does not mean their relationship has to get better, or that the negative cr will suddenly turn into positive feelings all around, but Skyler will, in the very far future, make attempts to make amends. Please be prepared to discuss that with me!

On another note, I will be absent from the game for the last half of Januaryish because of reasons. Any plotting I do must be scheduled for before that time, pending a huge PUASE for my real life, or in February.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Any especially-notable pre-game CR connections would have would be limited to the family of four who make up her owners - Mr. Jeremy, Mrs. Pearl, nine-year-old Linda, and six-year-old Michael Bell - any of whom would be perfectly fine to bring into the numbers-mess if not-excessively-decided and convenient and wanted matches for anything anyone might have in mind.

Open/Wanted CR: None specific in the slightest! She's fine and, on my end, definitely enjoyable to bounce off of most anyone, though anyone who she may have the chance to meet - or draw her out of her pasture within any circumstance to meet them - would be a particular joy!

Other Info: She figured that with the appearance of a unicorn horn on her head her secret may as well be out - and thus her masters-now-family know now that she is, indeed, an actual unicorn, able to speak, and one who's been doing so by paranormal means with those outside of the Bell house vicinity for some time. Thus, she's now a bit freer not to fuss the need to keep everything furtive in a number of areas, potentially having friends and visitors one of them.

Her horn's also given her the ability to channel magic - with her two talents being dowsing for crystals and gemstones and telekinesis, both skills allowing her to explore and likely Echo aspects of Rarity's status as an artissste! Discussing aesthetics and/or potential adventures in tailoring for either soon or the future ought to be dandy as well.

Character: Calvin Kent, professional baseball throw-and-catch man for the Locke City Thunderbolts, a Major League Baseball franchise based in Locke City.
Pre-Incarnation: Clark Kent, AKA Supes.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: As of this writing, Calvin's immediate family is limited to his mother and father. If anybody would be interested in playing one of them, expanding his family somewhat, playing a part of his extended family or really, any kind of general pre-network CR, I'd be open to the idea of quietly retconning parts of his backstory where necessary to make it a possibility. What I'd be really, really interested in is if anybody would want to play one of his teammates on the Thunderbolts. If that sounds appealing to you, please hit me up, 'cause I'd love to make it happen.

More obviously, being a pro athlete on a good team and an activist who gets involved in various causes, he's a prominent figure throughout the city and virtually anybody would be well within their rights to recognize who he is. He likes to meet fans, sign autographs, talk to people on Twitter, etc., so having met him or talked to him is totally possible too.

Open/Wanted CR: As mentioned, anybody who's involved with the Thunderbolts in some way - a teammate, part of the office, a fan, whatever, I'd be really interested in that. Specifically, there's not a whole lot I can think of, but Calvin is the type who likes to help people and I really wanna get him involved in stuff, so if there's aaaaanything you think he'd be good for, please, let's talk.

Other Info: I haven't done a whole lot with Calvin since introing him in the middle of last month, and I wanna fix that and get him involved in more stuff starting this month. He still only has two echoes and for the most part is a normal, if physically endowed dude, so I'd like to get him into a position where he can echo back something that'll make him more useful.

Character: Ryou Bakura: Nerdy McBroodyPants teenager who is starting to actually make friends and not be a total jerkass to everyone. Pickly on the outside, soft on the inside.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: People he knows via the game shop, therapist types that have had him on a caseload, he has some cousins in Japan and a few other scattered relatives off in the Vegas/Cali area.

Open/Wanted CR: People who can crack his shell and get under his skin that won't be rebuffed by his attempts to push them away. People to get into shenanigans with. Mentor types to get him firmly on the path of not being a jerk, questionable moral types to bring out the thief qualities of his darker 3rds.

Other Info: Anyone one who's sensitive to the supernatural's free to notice that Bakura's been summoning Diabound in Invisible mode an awful lot lately and possibly track him down through it.

Anything Else?: He's due to get back from Japan Saturday and his Grandmother will be piecing together the personality shifts, physical changes and other things that Bakura thinks he's hiding better than he is to realize something close to what's actually going on. This will result in EMBARRASSING GRANDMOTHER ENCOUNTERS as she will be wanting to cheer on her grandson's epic quest and help out him and all his super hero friends. Mostly with baked goods and encouragement.

Pre-Incarnation: Haughty overpowered vampire aristocrat with an inflated ego. Previously lived in the real world but she immigrated to the series' magic-infused setting.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: She and her sister moved to the US from France about a year and a half ago! She's in eighth grade rn and likes to perpetuate rumors that she is related to Dracula because her mom's from Romania. Part of a rich family so her familial social circle is kind of high, but she doesn't have many non-family friends, aha. Alone at school a lot and tends to hang out in the music room in her free time practicing the piano.

Open/Wanted CR: LITERALLY ANYTHING she is new, so lkfdhgsdfh. She's kind of a snooty jerk at first glance but if you manage to be her friend she will literally protect you with her life, so that's a thing.

Other Info: She just arrived so she's trying to get the hand of the network. Still kind of shell-shocked about the general 'ooooo city conspiracy!!' thing.

We all know about the gentleman biology teacher-slash-werewolf by now, right? Of course we do.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His parents live in Iowa, and that's the only family he has... but students and fellow teachers are always open for pre-network CR! As are previous people he's tried (and largely failed) to date, mostly from internet dating sites since he's never liked bars or clubs or anything :|

Open/Wanted CR: Actually not that many glaring holes in his CR right now! Maybe more ladies seeing as he's got a ton of male friends these days?

Other Info: Nothing major as of yet. Soonish I'm hoping to come up with some kind of means to give him willfull wolf shape, but that'll require a big plot type thing :B

Character: Roy Sellers
Pre-Incarnation: Ramirez - Skies of Arcadia

Spoiled upper-middle class kid whose dad died in a car wreck when he was ten. His mom remarried three years later and Roy took it...badly...but he's recently managed to forge a cordial relationship with his step-dad, though it's clear he's not exactly affectionate toward him. Other than that, he's pretty nice, if sheltered, and he'll do what he can for you if he thinks you need help.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Roy is an only child, but if you want to bring his mother or his step-father, or even some cousins or something into this then I say go right ahead. He majors in Engineering at Locke City University, so you can assume to see him around or even be friends with him if you want. Alternatively, he was a hysterical demon child from ages 13-16 due to some...family issues...and more than likely he ended up leaning into the wrong crowd for a while. You can assume positive or negative CR from this aspect of his life, though know he probably didn't end up engaging in any sort of bullying or major law-breaking as he's a bit too soft-hearted for that. He's cleaned himself up since, though. For now.

He is also enormously gullible and a bleeding heart so you can siphon money out of him easily. At any point in time.

Open/Wanted CR: All CR is open, positive or negative! Friends are great, especially if they are young or have some sort shy, nervous quality to them, or are in other ways down on their luck. Roy's attracted to these things because he has an aggressive hero complex and likes being needed.

You can also call him on his spoiled, wishy-washy savior complex because that would be fantastic. Roy is also very easy to manipulate. He will trust what people say immediately and is easily taken advantage of because of this, so if a character picks up on that and wants to use it to their advantage, then I say go ahead and exploit it.

Other Info: Roy's been settled in here for a few months now, so I've been planning on him getting back some of his more profoundly negative echoes to put him more in line with his pre-incarnation self, especially in terms of personality. This can include: a shorter and much more explosive temper, loosened morals (especially if such morality is in the way of something he feels he needs to do), far more intense codependency with a healthy helping of his daddy issues going in the exact opposite direction they've been headed in, a much more aggressive disposition, and just a general, simmering anger at everyone.

Character: Evelyn Harris
Pre-Incarnation: Princess Zelda

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Evelyn goes to a sciencey magnet school, so more classmates would be awesome! She is also a part-time tutor for younger kids, which could be a potential source of CR, and works in a movie theater ripping tickets and making popcorn. If your character frequents the movies, she's probably rambled on about some filmmaking technique or other while they just wanted a soda.

Open/Wanted CR: Ugh I want all the CR but more specifics: friends, rivalries, one-sided rivalries where she's determined to outdo the other person while the other person is totally unaware there's a war going on, people to philosophize about destiny and fate with, idk she might have a brief identity crises especially when she starts regaining Sheik memories so people to talk about that with actually I'll put that in the next section

Other Info: Once she starts regaining some Sheik memories, she'll probably have a brief spot of identity confusion where all of a sudden she thought she was a princess but was potentially a guy all along??? so that's something that could be really interesting to play with! At the moment, she's really full of herself and thinks she's the hottest shit around, so one of my long-term goals for her is taking her away from the obnoxiousness and learning both that she's not the smartest person in the world and also that that attitude is really, really offputting. Some of this will come from memory echoes but I'd also like a lot of it to come from interactions with people! Basically she needs to be taken down a few pegs and make some mistakes which would be awesome to play with.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: The usual stuff for a kid. You know, fellow classmates, teachers, a soccer coach is a possibility. He's not extremely social, so there's probably not the widest net to cast, here.

Open/Wanted CR: Attempts at bullying by someone around his age would be kind of fabulous. He's the type to get in their faces if they get into his. Also, conversely, any kids who get bullied; he's likely to stick up for you and try to scare them off. More mentor figures would be cool, too, despite his tendency to sass adults that tell him things he doesn't like.

Other Info: My big plan now that season one is winding down? He needs. His. Shikai. AKA, he needs to learn his sword's name and be able to call out the big flashy ice dragon. Hopefully there will be some big dramatic combat moment where this can happen. That said, I'm open to ALL THE PLOTTING.

Character: Kara aka 'my real name is unpronounceable but I'm a kind person'
Pre-Incarnation: Starfire of Teen Titans cartoon fame.

Starfire was a superpowered alien princess who lived in a giant letter T with equally weird teenagers and fought crime of both the stupid and colossal variety. Reincarnated, she is a Ukrainian girl attending Locke U on a wrestling scholarship in order to study astrophysics! So no, the weirdness never really goes away.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: As mentioned, Kara goes to Locke U, so anyone who also attends could be at least passingly familiar with her since she's kind of hard to miss. Classmates are also welcome! She also goes to the gym quite a bit, so anyone working out may have seen/spoken to her there as well. She loooves her some workout buddies.

Anyone who works in immigration or other related departments could also be familiar with her, as is anyone who is also Ukrainian and frequents the Orthodox church. She's pretty social, it's not difficult to hash out some pre-network cr if you want it. c:

Open/Wanted CR: I WANT ALL YOUR CR you guys are great. But no really.

Kara is getting really interested in getting more involved in off-network stuff, so if anyone needs/wants an investigation buddy or another member of some vigilante justice it'd be pretty easy to rope her in. She's also crazy friendly and is always looking for friends, and so am I! She isn't put off by more aloof people either, if you need someone to aggressively friendship.

I am also interested in her getting into conflicts, too? Since she's so friendly it hasn't really happened much yet, but I think it could be fun. Moral debates, more intense stuff, I'm open to all of it.

ALSO I haven't really gotten the chance to emphasize her sportiness, so I'd love to do stuff with her wrestling or even just the fact that she goes to the gym super often and lifts alarming amounts of weights for someone of her build.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: I've been aggressively getting pre-CR with just about every teenage girl character who joins the game, and intend to continue doing so. She's been in town for 5 years and is originally from New York. I haven't ruled out the possibility of a sibling if something leaps out.

Open/Wanted CR: Annie has assembled a magical girl dream team called All Star Precure that is now hiring. Being a Precure isn't a requirement, and apparently being a girl isn't either, since Russel's on the team.

At 26 year old woman. She runs a family bookstore called The Winding Way and is a published author under the name of "Didi Raines". She has an ongoing series, sci-fi YA , two books completed, that have started to become pretty popular.

In college she majored in Linguistics and Literature and as her username suggests she is a bookworm. She will read anything. Nonfiction, fiction, historical, scifi, fantasy, classics, everything.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: I don't really see a lot of opportunities for familial relationships. She is an only daughter and I would like to keep it that way. Single mother, no idea who the dad is and she is pretty much disconnected from the rest of her family because her mother was more or less disowned. If you'd like to be some sort of cousin we could work something.

Friends from highschool or college would be great. She's been in Locke City all her life.

Open/Wanted CR: Any fans of her books? More friends, some people to flirt with (open to anyone around her age and receptive!), people to butt heads with though she's got the patience of a saint. So....essentially anything really.

Open/Wanted CR: Something I legit want to establish is an ex-boyfriend, or at least a past hookup. Also, I need an excuse for her to echo back her shapeshifting powers.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: He has two older sisters, but they live out-of-town. His parents still live in the city, but I'd like to keep them NPC. Jeffrey is 18, but a junior at Locke U in the Economics and Architecture programs, as well as a TA for a freshman level math class, so there could certainly be some overlap there. He went to private schools as a kid and a teen, and tested out of high-school when he was fifteen, but if your character might recognize him from that, I'm cool with it. His family is also pretty well-off, so they run in a bit of a higher social circle from the middle-class.

Open/Wanted CR: Give me things. No, really. Jeffrey is a really sweet guy, but very nervous about initiating social interaction. Befriend him, make fun of him, try to get him to do your homework for you, whatever. He's a doormat, really.

Other Info: I don't have any really concrete plans for where he's going. He's still trying to adjust to having super-strength, so that could be something funny to work with if anyone wants to.

Pre-Incarnation: Sasha Braus, a child soldier from a family of hunters who loves to eat and tries to be polite but doesn't quite realize how weird she is

Former L-obsessed stalker serial killer with Shinigami Eyes, Current squeamish Criminal Justice Major. His main interests are puzzles and shoujo manga.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: University students, especially ones in the same field of study. He lives in the dorms on a scholarship, so maybe he even has a roommate?

Police characters, since he is trying to become a detective he might have gone on a ride-along with one/some of you. This could be terrible depending on how eventful said ride-along was.

If there are any older high school teachers in the game, I imagined he had a good relationship with his, if anyone wants to have been a mentor to him in the past. Oh yeah, and he used to volunteer at the clinic L was in if anyone else would know him from there.

As for AU family CR, EVERYONE IS DEAD save for one separated twin sister. However! He was a foster kid and lived in many homes, so it would be interesting if there are any older characters who would want to be former parents of his that didn't work out for whatever reason.

Open/Wanted CR: I am open to anyone who wants CR, but let's see.... Puzzle fans? Competent people? Magical Girls? Detectives? SHINIGAMI?

Budding ten year old vigilante hero. Soon to be walking armory. He's easily bossed around be fucking watch yourself if you piss him off. Now apparently notorious firebug of the Network.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: He moved in from a small rural town where everybody knew everybody, so if your character needs to come in from the country, it's possible they could have run into Luke in his home town?

Open/Wanted CR: No ideas at present, although hopefully sometime before the end of January he'll be homeless and need a place to crash.

Pre-Incarnation: Chemist at the forensics lab and single mom, reincarnated from a surgeon/medical examiner with some weird magic powers.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Friends from college, high school, etc. - general people around her age. Coworkers at the forensics lab or through the police or anyone else who might request her lab's services. She had a stint in a gang when she was in middle school (so like 17-18 years ago) but she'd be more likely to avoid people she recognizes from that!

Open/Wanted CR: I'm always looking for Naomi to get talking with people outside of business/science talk! Though people to talk those things with her are welcome too, of course.

Other Info: Not much! Naomi's currently trying to figure out how her recent echo (the ability to hear the dead via her phone), which she's going to need help with, but I'm pretty open otherwise.

The once magical girl who captured cards and had some adorable outfits now is a almost high schooler who is confused as heck as to what is going on when it comes to her echoes and is pretty dang sure she was a witch considering the 'familiar' [ie Kero] she had and the star wand she got back.

Currently she's in Locke Middle School and is about to turn 16 years old and will be then joining the Locke High School crowd!

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Family is always a plus! She has two parents, totally alive and happy, she has two older siblings [one brother and one sister] and a younger sibling who is in elementary about to go into Middle.

Open/Wanted CR: Negative CR, some more adults, and since she'll be in High School soon, some High school friends would be great. She'll be getting a job soon too!

Other Info: Currently in this new month she will be echoing back a card at some point [hopefully the Flowery Card] and thus will be surprised when she echoes back the chant needed to use it and covers the place in flowers.

Pre-Incarnation: Belphegor of Sloth

Counselor-in-training. She is very gentle and patient, though is probably more serious than she needs to be about most things. She gets caught up in things and people that she deems to be her responsibility and sometimes becomes over-invested in them.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: She transferred to Locke City for college, and is currently working out of Dr. Glen Korai's behavioral health practice where she has been allowed to practice while under observation. She has mostly dealt with short-term counseling cases at this point (grief counseling, mental health assessments, etc). Other than that, she makes weekly visits to her mother in an assisted living facility and doesn't go out much aside from running errands

Other Info: At this point, I don't have any solid plans for her or a timeline to follow regarding her abilities returning to her. So...yes! See above :3

Character: Dante Rantanen
Pre-Incarnation: Riku

So Dante's basically a pianist's son, which meant he spent like five years on the road with his parents because he was a spoiled little jerk. Got into some trouble, lived with his grandmother, moved to Locke City after she died and 18 months later SHENANIGANS HAPPENED. But as a result of consistent moving (this stint in Locke City is the longest he's stayed anywhere in the past eight years), he's really bad at making friends beyond "casual acquaintance." He'll be PERFECTLY POLITE (if snarky as all get-out) and will in fact listen and ask questions and try to come off as actually caring, even if. He really doesn't.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: As mentioned above his father is a pianist, and his mother is a publicist! NETWORKING IS THE NAME OF THEIR GAME. Dante also did his senior year of high school at Locke City Academy, so any current students there might have known of him before. (Of course, his grandmother had just died when he started there, and given how close he was to her this made him pretty withdrawn for most of that year.)

Other Info: Dante can be found pretty much daily out running. He lives on his own so ALL OF THE CHORES AND SHOPPING, and he's also going to be getting wound up in Varric's shenanigans too so it's possible for CR to come about that way too. He's also big on exploring and, even though he's been in Locke City for a while, there's still a lot he hasn't done.

Anything Else?: I APOLOGIZE, I'm kind of slow right now due to holidays and new year and all of that. I'm also moving at the end of this month (whoo-hoo, spontaneous decisions :|) so my time is kind of split between RP and job-hunting and packing and winding up life here. Pre-Incarnation: Wander

17-year-old Catholic high school student whose preincarnation killed sixteen massive creatures in order to bring his lady friend back to life. A pretty friendly and dependable kid despite his somewhat nervous disposition.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Open to anything! He's got an insular family and is isolated at his school, unfortunately, but if you want to bounce ideas around I'm all for it!

Open/Wanted CR: He has some close friends but I would love to expand his social circle a little! Also open to less friendly CR -- he's more prone to snapping at people lately since December brought on a lot of stress and some Blood Keys related trauma.

Other Info: Mostly just planning on throwing him at various people and seeing what sticks! I massively overestimated my free time during the holidays, so I'm gonna try to make up for that. Echo-wise, he'll slowly be getting more possessed. He's a little pale due to being 3/16th of the way there, but it's not all that noticeable. He's also much more durable/stronger than he should be, so he's easier to get into shenanigans without getting killed.

ALSO: HORSE. Still want to get his horse back as soon as it's convenient. Because his horse is the best horse.
