As always, the meme's open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE; there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters - when doing so, please label with characters' reincarnated names (if decided!) and pre-incarnated names and canons in the comments' subject lines.

Kadin Last-Name??? / OC

Character: Kadin
Pre-Incarnation: Also Kadin, but presumably with some kind of last name.

Kadin is a character I first conceived of for a DnD campaign, but then never wound up using, but I liked him so much I found him a pb and started fleshing him out to use around DWRP. An outdated version of his backstory is here from around the time I first started playing him. Since then I removed the elements of his backstory that were specific to the Ark and added some actual conflict. Aka instead of peacefully working it out with the main bully, he accidentally kills him, then flees the monastery in shame.

So tl;dr with Kadin's preincarnation is that he was a naga adopted by a family of human monks in a fantasy type setting. As a kid he was excluded and ridiculed for not having legs, although he did have some measure of support from friends and mentors. Eventually there was a showdown with the main bully who Kadin wound up killing. This fucked him up and he's still sad about it. He's got a lot of 'I'm a monster' type guilt going on. He's a bit of a religious nut, but in a fairly harmless way.

AS FOR HIS REINCARNATION all I have so far is that he'd be 18 years old, adopted, heavily involved with the a Unitarian Church group of some kind, and he'd be in a wheelchair due to Spina Bifida. He's into architecture and wheelchair rugby as well as does volunteer work at the hospital helping motivate people and getting people to do their physical therapy and things like that.

His first echo would be that he hates wearing clothes.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Anyone in his school or in his church would probably know about him. His preincarnation is outgoing, cheery and almost aggressively friendly.

Open/Wanted CR: I don't have anything in mind, but I just want to put it on the record that I am SO DOWN with negative CR. Kadin dealing with ableism and bullying has always been a huge part of his character arc, so if your character would be indelicate or outright mean to Kadin because of his disability know that I won't shy away from that in the least.

Other Info: I plan to have him echo back more muscle mass, eventually curing his birth defect and providing him with a pair of normally functional legs. He will of course not be super happy about this, as his disability has always been a huge part of his life, and he sees it more as a source of strength and conviction than anything else. Then they'll fuse into a snake tail and he'll be considerably more okay with that. Anyone who would wtf at this thought process is highly encouraged to get to know Kadin before all that happens.

Danny Fenton // Danny Phantom

Character: Danny Fenton, the son of infamous local conspiracy theorists and roller coaster designers!
Pre-Incarnation: Danny Fenton/Phantom, secretly a half-ghost superhero with ghost hunter parents!

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: I'm totally open to working out distant relatives! Cousins, aunts, uncles, whatever, it's all fair game. The only family that is off-limits are his parents and sister.

If your character goes to Locke High, they may recognize Danny as the former No Pants Kid with the crazy conspiracy parents. Also, people might recognize his name if they've gone to the local theme park, because most of the rollercoasters there have 'Fenton' in the name somewhere.

Open/Wanted CR: ANYTHING. ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING. WITH HIGH SCHOOLERS, WITH ADULTS, I'M UP FOR ANYTHING. LET'S DO IT.

Other Info: Danny's had a really rough December, so he's not doing too hot right now, emotionally. I want him to join the Precure hero team eventually, but probably not this month. :/ And I SWEAR TO GOD. THIS MONTH. THIS MONTH I AM GOING TO GET ON THE POSSESSIONS THAT EVERYONE SIGNED UP FOR MONTHS AGO. I'm not sure if I want to take on any more people, because I've got a huge backlog as it is, BUT IF YOU ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR IT AND JANUARY'S A GOOD TIME, LET ME KNOW AND LET'S WORK THIS SHIT OUT.

Also, his parents have caught sight of his Fenton Anti-Creep Stick echo from Christmas and will begin manufacturing and marketing it. It won't be on store shelves yet, but soon. Soon.

Pre-Incarnation: Wheatley, except a robot. From Portal.

High-strung and neurotic. Talks at 90 miles an hour and never ever shuts up ever. He is sort of a dick, kind of dense, and mildly delusional. DESPERATE FOR APPROVAL and a little bit off-the-wall eccentric, but generally an okay dude.

In robot flavor he is a talking metal beachball built specifically to make other robots dumber. As you can probably imagine, that is not very good for one's self esteem or sanity.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: He works as a programmer in a tech firm and is basically a big loser who lives by himself in a crappy apartment but you may or may not have seen him around town wearing terrible plaid and riding a shitty moped. He's got no family in the country because he is super British and not From Here, but he's been in Locke for a few years so I'm pretty much game for anything if you want to work out some pre-established CR!

Open/Wanted CR: I would love anything and everything. People his age! People to fight with! People who listen to him and tell him he's smart! People who don't! Fellow tech-savvy types! People to drag him out of his comfort zone and don't care how much he whines!

Other Info: Complete toolbox. He likes talking and sitting in coffee shops on his laptop and kind of hates the whole network deal and wants to meet some of you crazy numbers club people in person. He's REALLY easy to rile up if you have a character who likes to rile people up, but he is also a good conversation partner?? He will teach you about computers if you are nice to him and ask him politely.

He's BEEN OUT OF THE COUNTRY for the holidays (read: I have been busy for the holidays) but he has flashlight eyes now and I am going to probably post him to the network in a day or two if you want some QUICK CR.

Other Info: Ideally I want him to get in to a position where he's forced to defend some younguns from trouble and confront his whole dislike of violence; he's got good reasons to dislike it, but it's time for more of his precarnation to come through. BU

Character: Richard Jovan Burzek, a quiet LCU student in his junior year who moonlights as a troll on the internet and the network.
Pre-Incarnation: Nathan Young, a rude and crude asshole who got himself an ASBO and some superpowers

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Eh, Jovan's family is too distant (like, literally. physically) for it to really matter, I think, but I'm not averse to people being family friends!

He is a TA for some English/public policy courses at LCU, though, so if your character's a freshman or sophomore taking those classes, they might know him! And he's a Locke High graduate, so faculty, other graduates, or current seniors may remember him from there too!

Open/Wanted CR: I'd love to build more off-network CR with Jovan to try and get something other than strictly antagonistic CR! Or non-antagonistic CR on the network too, if that's even possible.

Other Info: I've got a network post for him lined up in the next few days that is, as all Jovan posts are, terrible. Otherwise, I've got no plans and am open to just about anything. I...might have him start to echo back some vaguely useful powers? Maybe??? ?? ?

Anything Else?: I keep forgetting to mention--if you are ever at any point uncomfortable with the frankly awful shit Jovan says/does, don't hesitate to comment here so I can steer clear!

A ferret with an absolutely AWFUL PERSONALITY. Seriously. She is on a constant high horse and picks favorites and shit talks and is basically a huge, gluttonous baby. She's also gained a lot of Romsca's memories, so her thoughts have turned slightly... uh... bloodthirsty of late. She's been a loyal friend and kind of a helicopter guardian if you get on her good side, but we'll have to see if she actually goes homicidal.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: She used to live to a fairly well-to-do family with a more or less unspecified amount of family members, so I believe they should be pretty appable! Otherwise, if you want to say your high school student has seen Stella at school with Lyall for a biology lesson, please feel free.

Open/Wanted CR: can someone please call her out on thinking that killing someone is entirely ok because between her echoes and all of the child initiated homicide her morals are getting kind of screwed from the outset. OTHERWISE I'm up for anything, especially silliness! Make sure she KNOWS she's tiny and fluffy and adorable, ok.

Other Info: I THINK I want to establish some sort of zoo visit for her, but that is probably going to get pushed up until next month so I don't have too much on my plate. As a general note, she has very little patience for anything or anyone who isn't interesting or otherwise serves a purpose to her, so if your character wants to chat about anything other than business, they'll have to catch her interest by answering her questions or being an unusual individual with shared interests. Or by being stubbornly nice. That's how Durral did it.

On another note, I will be absent from the game for the last half of Januaryish because of reasons. Any plotting I do must be scheduled for before that time, pending a huge PUASE for my real life, or in February.

Hipster brat with gender issues. Raps a lot and also plays ukelele. Runs a bunch of blogs. Brags about the blogs. Skateboards or bikes everywhere. Rarely interacts genuinely with other people. Frequently full of shit. Has a bad habit of hitting on people who were once related to her. Sorta hard to get along with.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Creative project collaborators, online friends, she works at the community college media center/help desk.

Open/Wanted CR: More creative people? More friends. Someone who will get the upper hand with her and give her a run for her money.

Other Info: Once I get my ass in gear, Avery's echoes will start ramping up again. She's still in denial about being a reincarnation, so if you want to laugh in her face when she gets her big shocker feel free. She still needs friends. Like, a lot. So while negative or positive CR would be great, I'd love to just get some people who give a shit about her?

Anything Else?: I just got off a hiatus for the full month of December! So, I am kind of lost as to what's going on in the game briefly. As such, Avery is not up to anything important, so I'm probably going to go around looking for new opportunities. If anyone wants to throw anything at me I will probably be hella game.

Pre-Incarnation: Horrible bugmonster personification of the apocalypse turned Kamen Rider.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Hajime's family runs a Japanese restaurant in the city, where Hajime works. He's a workaholic, so he's there pretty much all the time. He's lived in Locke his whole life, and he also graduated from college there last year.

Open/Wanted CR: Come to me, monster people or people with weird giant bug-related memories. (Alternatively, I would die laughing if someone played a snooty restaurant critic he could declare to be his sworn enemy or something.)

Other Info: He's been rather antagonistic towards people who don't seem to be acting for the general good of the network, and he'd be happy to provide muscle to anyone who needs a bit of help with the police or Thunder. He's also just gone on his first heroic patrol as a Kamen Rider without actually telling anyone that was him or what he was planning. This has already led him into getting accosted by Precures, and I'm up for any other shenanigans this Kamen Rider could accidentally cause.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His immediate family consists of only two caring but workaholic parents who've been defaulted to in assumption as having educationally-related professions - neither actively desired (unless-well on the off chance one might be entertaining the idea of apping canonmate Paul Luther in which case I'd be fascinated by the potential to lay most anything out) and likely to have by now dropped patience and declared him runaway. He also has quite a host of relatives French-Catholic in background, including one married aunt and several cousins he was particularly close to when he was small. Agreeable, well-read, and eager-to-please as he is, he was also a bit of a teacher's pet in elementary and much of middle school.

Open/Wanted CR: Anything that'll stick is very much welcome - particularly so would be anyone he can be himself around. So to speak. And especially in the form of p'raps more casual CR around his own age and a bit of a challenge in the form of encouragement/inspiration and/or something to the tune of rivalry or similarly less-harmonious CR - he's not notably clashed with anyone thus far!

Other Info: Anthony's currently really quite dead, really quite prone to panic, and still a bit nerve-racked over both having been seen in public - by at least one non-reincarnate as well as reincarnates - and a (unremoved) hand in an apparent brief zombie outbreak with apologies to Angeline Strauss. Apart from that he's still staying with John Mitchell as a neighbor of Nick Burkhardt and is getting to accept that if he's got a role in things, it's unlikely a combative one, Echo-granted swords aside, and is going to take Ryan's advice in taking up writing on the side - first thought would be intelligent, potentially helpful things on understanding of the reincarnates' situation.

He's also got a red gemstone lodged out of sight behind his right eye and is next due to Echo components for an item-repairing/enchanting spell - one of which'd be best acquired by inadvertently breaking a vase.

Other Info: His granny has made her way onto the network! He's still not sure how to deal with this. I'm still strongly toying with the idea of having Arthur get forced into faking his death for the police by jumping off a bridge into a large body of water. He could go fugitive and live in the ocean. Nothing could go wrong and Granny Curry would probably kill him anyway.

Pre-Incarnation:
Once upon a time, he was a street rat that found a vampire and brought him home. Many things happen and he grew up to become a mob boss that found out his vampire buddy was trying to get himself killed, but then his wife got a brain tumor and his gang was all killed and then his brother was killed and he got mad and his vampire buddy and him went attacked the Triad because why not? He was then turned into a vampire and stuck around until his daughter went to Paris to paint so he and his vampire buddy went to watch a sunrise together.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities:
His got a huge family in both Japan and America so feel free to ask about it. He also hung out with a tougher street crowd back home in school and did a number of odd jobs that including roadie work, modeling and even bar tending in Australia so also ask. He is also a party boy though he has been curbing back on that but he used to have a lot of dating, drinking and other buddies from before the network stuff hit.

Open/Wanted CR:
Cop CR. Drinking buddy CR. Old girlfriends/boyfriends CR. My parents have money and you are still a snot CR. VAMPIRE CR. I am open to everything and anything, just ask.

Other Info: Shou is dipping his toes into the criminal past of his other self and is going to start looking for/recruiting a raid strike group because he is getting tired of all this crap going on. He is also setting up a couple less-than-legal accounts using some serious accounting skills in order to make sure that the Numbered have funds if/when they need it. Outside of that, he is still sort of dating Caliste and still trying to be a lot more optimistic than he feels concerning the person he had once been.

A high school junior who enjoys teasing, although with how serious things have been lately he's been a little too stressed to do quite as much as usual. He now has the power to heal anyone he looks directly at and, while he can be somewhat abrasive if you press the right buttons, he's still (very generally) well meaning and will do what he can to help whoever needs it.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: He's got a group of friends from his grade who he casually games/hangs out with, and several aunts and uncles on either side of the family, one set of which has been established to live in California and run a farm. Things may be a little bit weird with friends still what with the whole having gotten arrested for illegal possession of drugs thing.

Open/Wanted CR: I'd seriously be cool with pretty much anything, hit me up!

Other Info: I really want him to start running around trying to heal everyone over any little thing while he's still got that nice little heroic streak. This will also lead to his health gradually deteriorating, as that is the price of using his power (not that he currently realizes it). I'll be trying to get a post up about him offering to use that power as needed sometime soon!

Other Info: I DON'T HAVE MUCH TO SAY OH NO...basically Kaworu is a goober who always likes to look on the bright side of things, gives everyone advice they didn't ask for, and uses lots of Japanese emoticons. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ He also has levitation powers he could stand to use a little more. Maybe more trouble to get into if possible?

Pre-Incarnation: Tavros Nitram

Travis is your average nerdy teenager! Sort of. He volunteers at the shelter and occasionally works at a farm just outside of town. Super nice! Also kind of a jerk. He can mind control animals.

He's started to do videos anaylsing the in-world MLP equivalent which is about bunnies.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Travis has one largely absentee father who may or may not be involved in illegal stuff. Who knows! I've left it pretty vague so if anyone ever wants to play his dad in the future then that's a-okay by me. Other than that, friends? Hell, maybe even some online friends that happen to live in the city and they haven't realized it yet.

Open/Wanted CR: MORE FRIENDS! At some point I'd totally love to explore him in a relationship because he's never been in one before and he's got hella insecurities about it, but that's a far flung goal.

For miscellaneous CR, I'd also totally love for him to have a father figure of some sort since while he lives with his dad his dad isn't a big part of his life.

Other Info: He's a sweetheart, but he's also kind of a jerk and I'd love for him to realize he is a hell of a hypocrite.

Xander Jarle / Sandrath | Original

Character: Xander Jarle
Former soldier of the military during 2002 - 2006, was honorably discharged due to the death of his twin brother, Conleth. Did talk to a non-numbered therapist who suggested to record his days on a voice recorder, takes anti-depressants, sleeping pills and occasionally smokes to make it through the day. He moved to Locke in the middle of August with his black Siamese cat, Connor. He's now a grocery store baker, owns a second cat and is presently at war with himself due to his preincarnation's echoes.

Pre-Incarnation: Sandrath
An arch-angel before being corrupted by a substance known as 'demon blood' during several wars. After many years of mentoring another angel and doing nothing, he found a vessel to search the surface for answers. Along the way, he got some new abilities, became a little bit more crazier before siding with the beings of below. He's a fallen arch-angel now and enjoying his new life in a body of his own, with some interesting opponents springing up from time to time.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Extended family, old class-mates from elementary to high school (although Xander's family moved about every few years), military relationship with him, his brother or father. Ex-roomates or ex-boyfriends / girlfriends.

Open/Wanted CR: I'm open to any type of CR.
Although, he can be a bit socially awkward at first if it is a friendly conversation. He gets better over time (and probably a bit worse when he echoes back more of his preincarnation's personality traits).

Other Info:
He'll be getting back his knowledge of the network and all his echoes rather soon. I've been debating if I should make a post about it or have someone else come across him when the 'fog is lifted'.

As for locating Xander isn't very hard since he usually keeps to the bakery section of his work place or the appropriate aisles if he's out getting ingredients and usually spotted walking everywhere. He has listed the street intersections of his apartment on the network about three times now, but he wouldn't appreciate having a stranger drop by without any notice before-hand.

The Warden | Dragon Age

Character: Daylen Amell
Pre-Incarnation: The Warden

Formerly a diplomatic mage who rallied together differing races to take down an archdemon and save his country, now he's been re-incarnated as a human rights lawyer! Daylen tends towards cautious, polite approaches in life but has a passion for doing the right thing and a horrible tendency to meddle and take on everyone else's problems -- to the point where it can become slightly annoying. At the moment he is deeply in denial about the reality of the network because he is too pragmatic and logical to believe in magic.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities:

Daylen tends towards not believing Network Things at the moment because Anders has convinced him it is an elaborate prank by Improv Everywhere. SORRY. He's starting to doubt, though, so he's easing up.

Daylen has Huntington's -- he basically will never talk about this unless he knows someone very well and/or they are a medical professional or student and he has a question (or they are in his house and find something).

If you would like to befriend him but avoid that it is super easy therefore, and eventually I plan to echo his warden tendencies/illness and magic to overwrite the genetic trait.

Character: Makani 'Mac' Kapule, Maui-born, Locke-local psuedo ex-delinquent and CompSci student who dresses like he came out of West Side Story.
Pre-Incarnation: John Egbert of Homestuck, intrepid protagonist, known doer of The Windy Thing, occasionally dense but always upbeat teenager.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Mac is currently starting to finish up his first undergrad year at Locke U for Computer Science, but has a past full of trouble, so current undergrad students may have seen him around, and any high school Juniors/Seniors might remember him as "that 50s-themed delinquent who ran a small time gang a couple years back." This also means that at least some of the more veteran officers will recognize his face, as well. Some of the more Dead-District roaming types and/or delinquents might also recognize him. He wasn't necessarily a bad guy, though he was a bit of a troublemaker for the sake of it.

Open/Wanted CR: I'm open to all sorts of CR. Mac's kind of an asshole who needles you until it's clear you can handle his jabs (and then he lets up and worries about you constantly, cause he's a goob.) If you wanna have him go toe to toe with your character, or be their best pal, I'm up for either! He's still kind of a jerk either way, but he's a manageable jerk.

Other Info: Mac is currently working on trying to figure out a solution to the Blood Keys gang problem, whether that's forming another gang, or some separate force entirely. He'll probably be asking around for people's thoughts before going whole hog on this. He's currently scoping out places where they could set up shop, and how he'd organize any and all of this.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Julien traveled a lot through the continental US before settling in Locke about two years ago, when he took a large variety of jobs. He's very social and good with names and faces. For much of that time he's been volunteering at the LSR clinic; recently that's become an actual paying job. Over the past few months he's also had a lot to do with Locke's feral pigeons, and he exercises a lot - for someone who describes himself as lazy, he's very busy.

I'm also open to relatives at cousin-level or farther, but we'd need to discuss! His father's wealthy in Canada, his mother's out west somewhere, and both parents are mixed Asian-Caucasian.

Open/Wanted CR: I live in hope for some kind of quasiromantic thing that quite possibly doesn't last! haha. Otherwise lots of things! He may end up more antagonistic than usual for a while, but Julien still doesn't like to fight or argue and wants to get along with him. He's good mentoring some people, some other people are able to mentor him, he's fun.

Other Info: This month or next - whenever he gets his next plot Echo, which he'll try to avoid - he's finally growing feathers and looking like this. He will not take it well at all; Julien's inherently cheerful and resilient, but he's under strain and trying to hide it, and wings are just about the pound of bricks that makes the camel collapse. It'd be great if there were people willing to help!

Ryan is a former-firefighter turned walking spoiler/echo for the shingekis, but that doesn't stop him from being Team Dad to every kid he meets. He recently got engaged and has had some serious echoes that have altered his appearance a lot so while his life has been pretty much ruined by his echoes, he manages to keep a cheery outlook. Most of the time. Usually always, anyway. He plays video games and browses the internet all day... what a loser.

Michelle's a poor music student who plays an electric violin as well as the piano if she has an opportunity to use one. She plays music on the streets sometimes when she needs some extra pennies, but you can also find her on YouTube (known as Mikarin), where she uploads original compositions and covers or own versions of mainstream music, sometimes she even vlogs. (There are links to buying her songs on iTunes, please do dear subscribers the extra pennies give her better food, okay) She got her first echo on new years eve or so so she's entering 2014 hella confused

She's a bit reserved but way more sociable than her past self. Not having your parents killed twice does a lot to you, man.
