Another round of the CR/Plotting Meme with which to begin a new year!

As always, the meme's open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE; there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters - when doing so, please label with characters' reincarnated names (if decided!) and pre-incarnated names and canons in the comments' subject lines.

Pre-Incarnation: Sora, KEYBLADE MASTER

WHAT A SHIT. Skyler Veracruz is a high school senior, a one time bully and still overall unpleasant individual who's out for himself and his family in a cruel, uncaring Locke City environment. He's getting the memories of one of the most happiest, friendliest people ever conceived, and he's really getting unhappy about that because who wants Sora in their head. Seriously. DiZ.

And he's a Blood Key now? I guess. :o

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His extended family is still appable, but I'll have to put a bar on Arielle Veracruz. :( She's really growing into her own, and I'm not sure if anyone wants the baggage I've put on the character. Otherwise, I've had several people reach out to me with regards to wanting some bully-victim cr, and so far those interactions have panned out well. :) Killian came on as a friend Skyler met outside of school with his former group of troublemaker friends, so anything along those lines is more than welcome! Any incoming Blood Keys should holler at me or Helene's mun as well! If you've got plans, let me at 'em.

Open/Wanted CR: GIRLS. YOU HAVE THE POWER TO STOP SKYLER. IT IS WITHIN YOUR GRASP. Because he is literally incapable of saying no to girls, because he's part Sora. All kidding aside, he does tend to get along more easily with girls around his age or younger because he's actually a squishy loser, so if you want your character to have an overprotective delinquent on their side, please let me know! I've got some great dad figure son figure stuff going on as well. Those are just the relationships I know work, but we can always discuss other types!

NEGATIVE CR IS MY LIFEBLOOD. If your character truly wants to be catty or bitter with someone, Skyler is an excellent choice.

Other Info: Uuuuuh well he is sort of a cyborg gang member now! I have at least two plots where people are going to find out about it (Danny and Holly I am looking straight into your eyes), but no real plans to out him to the network. I would LOVE to have some consequences for his behavior, though! Close CR crumbling into pieces is music to my ears. OuO If you want anything with regards to Blood Key shenanigans, let me know!

He is also sort of turning into Sora so please go into CR with him knowing he will eventually get better. This does not mean their relationship has to get better, or that the negative cr will suddenly turn into positive feelings all around, but Skyler will, in the very far future, make attempts to make amends. Please be prepared to discuss that with me!

On another note, I will be absent from the game for the last half of Januaryish because of reasons. Any plotting I do must be scheduled for before that time, pending a huge PUASE for my real life, or in February.

It'd be down the line since she needs to echo back the ability first, but would he still be at all protective of a cat that looks like a girl his age?

Hmm... that would depend! If he's fully convinced that she's a real girl, then yeah, sure! However, this is just kind of the initial approach for him: if he ever suspects that she's trying to pull a fast one on him, or if she tries to manipulate him on purpose, he's got a hair trigger for that kind of thing and he'd probably start avoiding her. I don't know much about her canon, so I don't know what she'd do under those kinds of circumstances. His patience only extends so far, unfortunately, but girls tend to get more of a pass from him. Does that... clear anything up OTL

On the bright side, Mimi is not at all manipulative because she's too stupid to even realize that can be a thing! She's extremely upfront about everything, it just also doesn't necessarily occur to her to say "oh by the way I'm a cat" unless he asks, in which case she'd respond with "well of course I'm a cat".

Because that's... super obvious, right?

She mainly just likes being around people who are nice to her without being annoying about it, so even if it went awry she'd probably just avoid him too |Da Hmm. I guess it kinda depends on how it all goes down with these two?

Since I'm planning on Mac to spearhead the anti-Blood Key effort and these two have shared familiarity in protags who reincarnated as HUGE JERKS i feel like they need to oppose each other/get into bloody fist fights/call each other names/attempt to outplay each other, because I'm an awful human being who likes when idiots get into fistfights.

OBVIOUSLY THEY WILL PROBABLY GET BETTER because they are both derps at their core but I kind of want to start them off as this dumb psuedo-rivalry thing. YOUR THOUGHTS MAWI?

OuO I don't know how to start it but once the ball gets rolling on his involvement with the Blood Keys, I am absolutely 100% convinced that they're going to become shounen rivals. Naruto and Sasuke. Ichigo and Ishida before the Soul Society arc. Sora and RikU AHAHAHAHAHA. Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru? Do they even count i actually don't know much about shounen rivals

Winter remains almost annoyingly straight-laced, but she also cares way too damn much. I kind of want to see what happens when unstoppable delinquent meets immovable goody-goody. It doesn't hurt that she has the power to possibly contest him for maybe 30 seconds if he ever did try something.

Is there any way we can run them into each other? I know they attend the same high school but I think they're in different grades and Skyler makes a point to stay away from other network members at school. Would she be the type to take senior level classes, maybe?

Actually, Winter is a senior, so they're probably acquainted on at least some level. Plus she probably knew about him from her time on the student council anyway. Just because that's over doesn't mean she's let go of it all, and she'll continue to worry over those few rough patches in whatever ways she has left.

Which, in his case, will probably mean trying to reason with him and then losing her temper when he won't listen to reason.

Let's see! If Arlene graduated LCH in 2011... Yes, that's right, Skyler would have been a freshman then, but probably had more of a troublemaker/class clown rep back then than a bully. He would have been on junior varsity sports too!

Be warned, though - Skyler's actually worked as a camp counselor for three years running and genuinely likes the job >D (liked? after his behavior this year i don't think the camp's gonna take him back haha) Girls have a special place in his heart, but he'll counsel the shit out of any bitty that comes his way, so it'll be less rage and more mentoring the HELL out of you, little man. The fact that he's actually chaotic evil can come up in the conversation later!! UuU
