Another round of the CR/Plotting Meme with which to begin a new year!

As always, the meme's open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE; there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters - when doing so, please label with characters' reincarnated names (if decided!) and pre-incarnated names and canons in the comments' subject lines.

Character: Russel Goldman
Pre-Incarnation: Raiel

A junior at LCHS who is obnoxiously friendly and upbeat. He makes a point of befriending kids who seem lonely and standing up for people if he sees them being bullied. This has gotten him into a few fights but NO REGRETS.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities:
- He's a junior at LCHS!
- He's on the football team (#34!)
- He's in the drama club (usually plays the villians)
- His dad, Samuel Goldman, writes terrible and hilariously unpopular children's books
- His mom, Patricia Goldman, is the publicly elected State Comptroller
- He roleplays on the internet and he has one MMO that he is Very Serious about (in which he plays a summoner type magic user) so it is possible to know him online!

Open/Wanted CR: More magical girls and talking animals, tbh. I'd also like a few outcast kids for him to be friends with, since that's a thing he does.

Other Info: Russel is part of Annie's All Star Precure team as Cure Love! He will eventually be getting back some super strength and the ability to play magical piano music and will be able to SUMMON SPIRITS BY PLAYING THE PIANO!!!

He will also get increasingly emotionally unstable and melodramatic. Expect dramatic and severe mood swings for the sake of hilarity as time goes on.

SHE KNOWS PRECISELY SHIT-ALL ABOUT MUSIC AT THE MOMENT but she was pretty awesome at the piano in her preincarnation, so i think she could echo a bit off of him? + use approximately 397485633485 speeches about music and friendship because those things do not equate to her in this life.

Oh my goodness he is ALL ABOUT music/friendship speeches ahaha. His preincarnation is just goofy dramatic speeches all over the place. They are going to set off so many echoes for each other aren't they...

Currently he is a huge music buff with a playlist for everything but he's totally tone-deaf and has never been able to learn an instrument, not for lack of trying.

SHE WILL EVENTUALLY AND BEGRUDGINGLY ACCEPT YOUR MUSICAL FRIENDSHIP, MUSIC-THEMED SHOUNEN HERO. she inherited her preincarnation's love for baking but not for music, which she's pretty lukewarm on. just so it can come speeding out of the reincarnation ether and smack her straight in the face.

i apologize for her in advance since she can be pretty unmagical and abrasive in this iteration, BUT SHE WILL LEARN. THROUGH NO SMALL AMOUNT OF SPEECHES AND PLAYLISTS, I HOPE. AND THEN COME TO REALIZE THAT CAUSING MUSICAL MAYHEM ON THINGS THREATENING HER AND HER FRIENDS IS A PRETTY SWEET GIG.

THERE WILL BE SO MANY SPEECHES AND PLAYLISTS. luckily Russel is MADE for dealing with abrasive people so that is not even an issue. it's not that he's especially good at handling them or anything, he's just REALLY STUBBORN about making friends.

By which I mean Marisa's mom also writes terrible literature, though her genre of choice is sappy PG-13 romance novels (under the pen name Deirdre Lovelace, I believe, because her agent thought that Yakasa Tomoe wouldn't sell as well.). Wouldn't it be funny if their parents had the same publisher and knew each other or something?

YES. I think this jokingly came up in an OOC post before lmao but I don't know if we decided on an actual name for the MMO.

i plan for his first spirit summon to be positively disastrous, it will be amazing =3c Bakura is more than welcome to be in attendance

Something like that, yeah. I think we came up with a joke of one in some planning post or whatever but... Bakura plays a bunch so we can even just be vague about the name or something, but if Russel does anything in game calling himself the Soundtrack... ;)

That's a good question.. I'd think so, since you can use it on anything. If Bakura had Russel's number it'd be a foolproof "YOU!" method :D

Maybe he can use the same battle speech he's used in RL :D P

i know that we've already got ferret russel cr but would you like to imply that skyler and russel have gotten into a fight before :D it doesn't have to go anywhere, it just establishes some history! it probably would have happened during russel's sophomore year, while skyler was a punkass junior.

the first is Kavi ( Signless ) who works at the high school as a guidance councilor. with Russel being a junior, might be a push to start working on options for college? maybe? ( again, idk since my hs pushed for that sort of thing early on )

the second is Van ( Vanitas ). Freshman at the high school. Not your super friendly sort?

Mine didn't til senior year but I would totally believe it if LCHS started that push junior year. He could easily be familiar enough with Kavi to recognize him on the street.

He's very...not sure what he wants to do in college. All he knows is he wants a football scholarship to a university and then ???? Majoring in music sounds cool but he can't even play any instruments and what would he do with a music degree and blah blah etc. He's one of those kids who knows college is the next step but not where he's going after that.

For Van it sounds like it'd be better to have them meet onscreen. Russel is like AGGRESSIVELY FRIENDLY so being standoffish or antisocial is not a barrier to CR, lmao
