Another round of the CR/Plotting Meme with which to begin a new year!

As always, the meme's open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE; there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters - when doing so, please label with characters' reincarnated names (if decided!) and pre-incarnated names and canons in the comments' subject lines.

WOW I SURE DID DELAY ON REPLYING TO THIS I'm sorry!!

More healers =>!! Ravi is definitely down for healer buddies.

Oh man LA CR...! Unfortunately I don't think ex-boyfriend CR works with that. Looks like Ravi is 3~4 years older and he was only in LA for high school (came at 14, ran away into the Army at 18). BUT I am totally down with saying they went to the same school!

Ravi in high school did not have many friends. He came in partway through freshman year and he was the perfect storm of a target because he was foreign, had a very poor understanding of English, and he was a meek and shy loner type. He dealt with a lot of bullying up until he started fighting back (uhh, literally/physically), and then he earned a reputation as an explosively angry loner and went from mocked to feared. He was sort of like a porcupine that was constantly bristling; he guarded himself by staying on the offensive and even neutral interactions with him would have been difficult or intimidating.

But he probably had at least a handful of people he could actually socialize with. That would've required a lot of effort on their part to squeeze through his shield and actually get to know him, though. IF YOU WANNA GO THAT WAY I'M DOWN but it's also cool if Anders was only familiar with his reputation.

I should have looked at your timeline before posting! I think Anders would've been just a little too young to go to high school with Ravi, and hadn't realized Ravi left SoCal as soon as I see now he did.

I like tossing Anders at porcupine-type people, though.

*edit* I should add there is the whole Templar thing; if you are not familiar with Dragon Age canon, Dragon Age involves mages who are locked up in Circles of Magi for life, and Templars who are their guards and hunt them down if they run away, among other things. Templars don't have magic but use a drug that gives them some magic-like abilities in order to subdue mages. Anders hates Templars. And Anders is a healer. A healer-Templar is totally unheard-of and would cause him to be very confused indeed.

With a 4 year age difference we could probably swing Anders as a freshman when Ravi was a senior, but yeah--Ravi got the hell out of dodge after graduation.

UN(??)FORTUNATELY Ravi is not quite as porcupine-y these days! Though he can be if you rub him the wrong way in your first impression ha ha...

i'm not familiar with DA at all so ty for the rundown! Ravi hasn't remembered the vocabulary yet (ie that he's specifically a paladin-Templar) but when he does that sounds like an interesting point of interaction and I'd defs like to see that go somewhere!
