There have been loads of new characters and new configurations of threads since our last one! And thus, where is the harm?

To any and all up for it:

Any thoughts on Lily in general, Winter? Is she annoying enough yet? Too hung up on her sister? Needs a life?

Well, let's set aside things that don't count...

Winter's initial thoughts on Lily are "worries a lot" and "worries even more about Jasmine", the latter of which makes sense to her. Really, Lily reminds her of herself; a little awkward sometimes, kind of a stick in the mud, serious and dependable when it counts. That said, Winter's really hoping the Echo train stops pulling into dark, depressing stations; she's thinking Lily needs some time to recover from the last few. Surely not-Lily has something fun to pulse back...? (Spoliers: lolno.)

And yes, Lily needs a life. Winter would be happy to oblige, because she too needs a life.

Lest we not forget the fact both would probably be happy camping out in the library until kicked out, those are some fairly accurate assessments. BUT HEY, THERE ARE SOME LESS DARK, DEPRESSING THINGS TO ECHO BACK... just... things to trigger those haven't managed to happen. Clearly someone needs to insist on a fashion show at some point to occur somewhere. That'd be something. I mean, it's not like she could at any moment remember killings... her... oh.

Well.

Ahem.

Regardless, Lily certainly needs help with that. Being more social and friendly than Yuri clearly =/= actually knowing what having a life is to any real degree.

I really don't even know where the hell this came from. Winter has this bad habit of trying to make sure nobody turns out like she did, and it's resulted in trying her best to keep Bakura grounded. She does value his input, but she worries a fair amount, especially considering his penchant for getting in trouble with very little effort. That said, she's also not sure what to do with his insistent desire that she keep herself out of trouble - that feels so alien to her that it almost goes in one ear and out the other, except that she knows he's right. But... that's a hard dilemma to work with, and one that's always in the back of her head.

As for Bakura himself, she really doesn't mind him. He's a little rough around the edges, but that's okay, really. And she likes that he's honest with her, most of the time. There's no time to deal with people that won't tell her what's wrong, even if she can't actually fix it. Oh, and, uh... even if she'll never tell him, she's really grateful that he works to hard to reassure her whenever something stupid happens. He's kind of a godsend like that.

Toushirou! Sheesh, it's been a while since she heard him snipe at her last. She's definitely glad he showed up for the birthday party, though. Gave her the warm and fuzzies. Mostly, she's still worried he's way too serious for a twelve-year-old, but at the same time, she's worried about what in the world he could become. Especially with that random flash step power she's forgiven him for using, and the sword she's pretty sure she's heard about. Seriously, what kind of preteen has that kind of stuff?

...These two need to interact again.

Do something dumb again where people can see it, Winter. Then he'll snipe. You can rely on him for that. It's how he show he cares most of the time, after all. He could tell you the "what" about what he's becoming, now. He got that echoed back, and well, on the surface it sounds like a bad thing but he doesn't have a ton of evidence that it actually is. Though he thinks recent events considered, he's not the kid anyone on the network should be concerned about.

... Yes, they do.

Winter really wants to shake a finger at you, Annie. No means no, and she's seen you harassing Kari over the team... then again, she did say yes, so maybe it's okay.

On to real business, though, Annie is really pushy and somehow also kind of laid back, but she means well, and that's really what matters. Winter is getting a little worried that the power is going to Annie's head, but at the same time, she knows she's not one to talk about that. But she worries a little, all the same.

That said, Winter's settling into having Annie effectively be the organizer - it's Annie that's called the team into battle all but one time, not her, and she's okay with that. In fact, Annie's probably uniquely suited to it; someone like her, that overthinks everything, isn't a good choice to decide when to sortie when lives could be in the balance.

...Winter remains unsure whether adding male additional non-Cure forces to the team was a good idea, but for now, performance has justified the decisions. Annie will be left in charge of acquisitions as well, though that won't stop Winter from trying. Clearly, the best pink, here.

Ohai Banagher. It's lovely to see you in a hospital room and she will make sure you are sufficiently made aware.

Anyway. Winter still doesn't know how the hell he can read her so easily, but she's coming to just accept it, and if there's a secret to it, she'll wait for him to tell her. She might not even get mad, if it's something weird. That said, he remains way up there on the list of people she's comfortable with. She feels like she can go to him with just about anything - and, on some level, she does - and he'll be there to listen. It's a very nice thing to have access to. But... she does worry that she's taking too much of his time, and burdening him a little too much with her problems that just aren't that important in the grand scale. That, and... she wants to help him sometimes, too. She kind of feels like she's that girl that tells her friend about everything wrong in her life and then just leaves when she's finished, and she kind of regrets that.

Oh, and she's still of the opinion that Banagher is amazing and cool. Sorry Banana, you're a celebrity to her. Heaven help you when she starts college in the fall, you're going to have a fangirl squad.

She mostly thinks he needs to get over himself and get with the program, or he's going to be a picture on the evening news. Winter really is worried about him, and if he doesn't want her keeping an eye out actively, then she'll do it against his will. There's no chance she's going to let anything happen to anyone. And even if he disapproves of her philosophy, it's how she is, and she won't change for anyone.

...He's kind of a stick in the mud, though. Really blunt, and doesn't even like classwork. Kind of like Bakura, actually... is this some kind of trend?
