There have been loads of new characters and new configurations of threads since our last one! And thus, where is the harm?

To any and all up for it:

OH NO THIS IS ALL SO TRAGIC Daylen is slowly getting edged into believing magic might actually be A Thing but I mean

his initial reaction was pretty much 'poor sad child with debilitating skin disease (possibly infectious) and oh no so depressed about their state their mind must be gone'

so

he might be a little embarrassed once he realises this is not the case. He's already a little embarrassed about the whole SLAMMING HIS LAPTOP SHUT AND RUNNING AWAY FROM THE CONVERSATION thing sorry Anthony :(

But once he regroups he will definitely (awkwardly) apologise for that. And. Ask how you are feeling. (hopefully not still telling people you are dead)

What are Daylen's thoughts regarding the one armed man he bumped in to at the park?

He thinks he seems sad. Daylen is a sucker for sad people. He was a diplo-warden so companion questing and stopping to save villagers is in his blood. He can't walk past a sad person! HE JUST CANNOT.

Xander has a strange air of mystery about him, though, it makes Daylen feel like he's hiding something -- possibly something awful or tragic that he's in trouble.

Dark likes him though so he must be safe. DARK IS NEVER WRONG Dark is a Labrador! Daylen therefore considers him a friend if he likes it or not and would buy him coffee or tea or something to try and cheer him up.

Daylen would be right about Xander feeling sad, as well as hiding something awful & tragic, but not really in trouble, yet.

Awww, Dark and that is a sweet gesture from his owner too. Although, if Daylen learns that Xander is becoming slowly evil, what would he do?

Probably try to help him ~fight it~ / fix it because he is one of those annoyingly stubborn people who believes the best of everyone. He canonly recruited an assassin sent to kill him okay. Yep.

Oooh. That'll be interesting to see! Although, Xander might eventually get testy due to echoing back his preincarnation's dislike of people pointing out the change in his demeanor between 'good' and 'bad' attitudes / moods.

It'd take more than that to dissuade him from it if he decides you are a companion quest in need of help

I enjoy a little conflict anyway so don't worry, if you were, a character who meddles as much as this one does should get thrown back a few times anyway or he'll never learn that not everyone wants his help (and that sometimes he really isn't helping).

HELLO TYPING FERRET

Daylen does not know how to feel about typing ferrets.

Other than an overpowering desire to pick it up and cuddle it and tell it its a GOOD FERRET.

Typing ferrets likely do not wish this to happen though so he is awkwardly scrambling for the correct protocol when addressing a ferret and probably making a slightly alarmed face the entire time.

MUST BE POLITE (... to ferret???)

One day Stella should use Daylen's labrador as a noble steed I'm just saying.
