There have been loads of new characters and new configurations of threads since our last one! And thus, where is the harm?

To any and all up for it:

Alex considers Julien a friend. He's curious about his other self, and can't resist trying to make up some sort of narrative that accounts for all the echoes Julien's told him about. He's got nothing so far. :)

He feels a sort of brother-in-arms type camaraderie with him, too, from when they both got sick from echoes. And he was pretty impressed with how Julien handled himself during the crisis, all the more so because Alex was kind of freaking out.
