There have been loads of new characters and new configurations of threads since our last one! And thus, where is the harm?

To any and all up for it:

Oh, Fail Old Man. Sometimes he forgets your name because Fail Old Man fits you so well...

Honestly, Bakura's a little baffled by Kotetsu. He chewed the guy out, yet Kotetsu still had a xmas present for him.... of course Kotetsu also forgot Bakura was AFK for 2 weeks so clearly, the lights are not all on upstairs, which might explain things a little.

Kotetsu is a decent guy. An idiot, but well meaning and seriously, guy, go pester your own kid more because your dad needs are clearly unmet, goddamn. But there is a touch of actual fondness too, which is why Bakura was so upset when it seemed like Kotetsu was lying. He haaates feeling lied to and its even worse when it's someone he actually likes. ... not that he'll admit he likes the failbucket or anything.

But he does. So don't get your ass killed, you hear, failbucket?

For all her annoyance, Bakura actually likes Marisa. AS A FRIEND. ONLY. Still not sure if the fake dating was a good idea, but the girls have backed off so hey, it worked right? either that or it was punching that one... She's good with video games, actually is a person despite being a girl, and actually gets under his skin. She doesn't take his shit and normally is pretty good at calling him out, something that he actually respects. She can also keep up with him and match him in banter and snark.

Over all, there is a level of respect he has for her that most people don't get. Because she's not most people. She's far more annoying than that. But not necessarily in a bad way.

Someday Bakura might feel a little bad that he ribs Toushirou so much, but it's not likely anytime soon. Perfect target of super serious kid who reacts with such disdain for so much of what he does that Bakura just can't help himself.

But at the same time, Bakura sometimes appreciates the serious. Wishes it wasn't 100% all the time, but hey, whatever. Least it's predictable. When Bakura's all getting down to business, he appreciates that Toushirou is ALWAYS in that mode. Toushirou gets it. Even if what that "it" is is sometimes hard to nail down. But push comes to shove, he knows that he can count on Toushirou, and that's a pretty important thing.

Likely, but he's not holding it against Anthony any. After all, the poor kid more than likely has literal brain worms....

Anthony is a small point of frustration for Bakura at times. He knows the guy can't help it, but sometimes he wants to just pick Anthony up and shake him into actually making a declarative sentence and standing up for himself. The self deprecation and listlessness makes it hard for Bakura to relate, and even though he knows Anthony probably has it the worst of all of the numbered he sometimes feels like Anthony's given up long before he should have. And there's really nothing he can do about it and that drives him even more nuts. All he can do is try and drag the guy out of his self imposed coffin, and try and keep him in reality when he loses his mind. He just wishes he knew if he were succeeding at all.

Hajime's hitting that family category for Bakura. Hajime just gets stuff, and with all the echoes that parallel each other, (even if they seem to be just a step removed) it just gets stronger and stronger. He still feels like Hajime worries far too much about disappointing his family when from what he's seen, his family is pretty cool and seems very happy whenever he hauls Hajime's ass out to actually relax. But he understands that worry. Hajime does kinda turn into a giant bug and how do you explain THAT to your mother who freaks out about bats?

But yeah. Hajime's his older brother right about now. And someday, EPIC TEAM UP~

Banagher is one of those enigmas for Bakura. He really doesn't get where Banagher is coming from and someday will get a Yuugi echo off him, I'm sure and keeps being rather unsure to the point of baffled at the strength of Banagher's stubbornness when it comes to connections with people. He's torn between wanting to shout "YOU DON'T KNOW MEEEEEEEEEEE" and actually explaining things when they butt heads because it sometimes does feel like Banagher lives in a different world than he does and feels entirely different things.

He's honestly not too surprised Banagher got shot. He's pretty sure there's some story about trying to save someone or rescue a puppy or something like that behind it. Just don't get your ass dead, shonen hero boy. 8\ Self sacrificing hero types remind him too much of Creampuff and he's not sure how he feels about that.

Bakura's... not really sure what he thinks about L. Thanks to their latest conversation there is a heavy dose of DO NOT WANT. Making him realize there are consequences to his actions, what is this bullshiiiit. L reminds him of all the fears he has about the mental health system and BOY ARE THERE A LOT OF THEM. Yet on the same hand, there's that awkward note of realizing that L might actually understand some of the things he's gone through. But the trust isn't even remotely there for that to be a viable topic to talk about.

Bakura doesn't have too much of a strong view on Akito yet. Doesn't even know the guys name even, whoops. But he seems an okay guy and they chat well enough when they do. He likes that Akito understands the intrinsic troubles being a Healer and thus isn't going to go out in a blaze of MP loss and hopes that things work out for the guy with the whole parents being creepily trusting of things.
