There have been loads of new characters and new configurations of threads since our last one! And thus, where is the harm?

uh he's actually pretty scared of danny uou it's the knowledge that he's got crazy powers and shit and he's being an accepted and important member of the network efforts, so everything skyler's doing would probably just make his case worse if danny ended up with a vendetta against him, since he has every reason to have one. like i've said before, skyler's been a shit to danny because he doesn't really know how to interact with him otherwise, and from the get-go he's been pretty sure that he's beyond even asking if they can work together or anything, so really, all of his worst fears about danny are true... not that he knows that yet! he actually does feel indebted to danny for saving his life back during the drugs bust btw - he's just really angry and grumpy that that's even a thing. (It's not actually a thing but skyler FEELS LIKE IT IS so it must be a real thing that he HAS to pay up on someday.) he's also a little jealous that danny has been getting so much support through the whole echo process, and that he's been making a lot of friends so easily. THAT PART IS ALL HIS FAULT and he knows it, even though he doesn't really... understand exactly how much of his fault it is. overall, he's learning to see danny in a new, non-dorky non-loser-ish light and he's getting a little intimidated (and of course that's making him angry because everything makes him angry nowadays.)

wow yes this response makes me very very happy because it is so rare for anyone to think of him as intimidating. i have a huge boner for making him into a hilarious doofus, but behind that one i have a smaller boner for danny actually being kinda badass/intimidating, and you are stroking that boner right now.

haha just wait till he actually starts to consciously and purposely use his powers maliciously. C8 once he realizes skyler's actually kinda scared of him, he is going to take advantage of it like crazy and might even start acting pretty ballsy to him, just because he finally feels like he has the upper hand to back up his claims!

danny u a rude ho but skyler totally deserves it UuU skyler isn't as afraid of losing a fight with him as he is of his social weight and the probable lack of consequences he'd face if he decided skyler needed to go down but like that's still fear friends ouo we should construct a situation where he realizes that huhuhu
