There have been loads of new characters and new configurations of threads since our last one! And thus, where is the harm?

To any and all up for it:

HAHA GOING TO THIS RIGHT AFTER THE LOVEFEST THAT IS HOLLY

oh my god. he KNOWS that sora considered neku a friend, and he even has memories of them agreeing to meet in shibuya someday and everything is nice and sweet and wonderful and FUUUUUCK THAT. he's just so SICK of remembering people he doesn't know from a life he doesn't even remember and -- like what, is he supposed to consider neku a friend? no. so he goes in the opposite direction and considers him an enemy. he does remember fighting him over a couple of his victims and he KNOWS neku doesn't have the best impression of him, so he didn't think they had a chance to get on the right foot with each other. it really would have stayed like that if... neku didn't have a reason to suspect him of shit and called him out for being a suspicious motherfucker. he knows that neku is way smarter than him and he would have made a mistake if he talked to him for too long, so he took the violent way out. BECAUSE CLEARLY THAT WAS THE BEST WAY TO HANDLE THIS

OK NOW THIS IS WHERE THINGS GET TRICKY. skyler's in the blood keys to get leverage in this whole war thing on the enemy's side (among other reasons), and he's perfectly aware that if someone on the network finds out that he's with the keys and doesn't like him, they potentially have the power to ruin his entire life and make him more vulnerable to any keys, network members, or policemen who would want him dead, and that could potentially kill his entire family. ari, his little sister, is by far the most important person in his entire life, and if anyone even breathes a threat against her he gets super crazy. add that to the fact that he's been on edge about living a really dangerous double life for a month before this all went down and... uh... he kind of took it out on neku in kind of a spectacularly deadly way. AND THAT'S WHY THINGS ESCALATED SO QUICKLY

so yeah he sees neku as a threat to ari's safety and he needs to be dead or silenced really really really really soon. he's watching you you son of a shit
