TEST DRIVE MEME

Scenarios:
> The Park. Man, what a nice day out. Why not enjoy it? I'm sure -- shit, yep, there's some echo monsters.
> The Mall. Exactly what it says on the tin! Dodge the hordes of teenage mallrats or take part, whichever suits your tastes.
> Rainy Day. Agh, it's fucking awful out. And is it raining those vermilion things?? Now you've got an Echo to contend with on top of everything else. Find some shelter, quick!
> PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. HOW FUN
> Arts and Crafts Fair. All the kitschy fun you can imagine.
> Wild Card! Make up your own.
Alex Watanabe [Hino Eiji] | Kamen Rider OOO TENTATIVE 8|
[That was. Well. It was really hard to say what that was. A fight? In the river with some angry guy with ridiculous hair? Okay, whatever, he wasn't going to try mixing those kinds of drinks together again anytime soon.]
[He could worry about whether or not stress was starting to get to him after he got out of the goddamn rain, though.]
howls
... Her day is about to get worse, apparently. She passes by this guy, looking up into his face and barely registering it, then takes two steps and feels her heart bottom out. Oh, ffffff! She stops in place, then quickly looks for a place to hide. She knows that face! And she knows that guy is bad news. At least, her other self thought he was bad news? Either way, it wasn't a good idea to linger here.
Which is exactly why she retreats onto the steps of a nearby restaurant, hiding behind the wall leading up to the doorway. And just. You know. Makes sure he's not up to anything. It's for the good of the city, right? ]
WELL HELLO sob pardon the icons i am still making them
[That was about when that girl ran past him.]
[He'd seen her before.]
[The memory that flooded his mind was ...well. It knocked him on his ass for one. It was like his brain was being invaded by a science fiction channel. A monster and that girl and then suddenly a whole lot of coins and what the fuck was that thing.]
Watanabe you're losing your mind.
[Where did that girl go? Maybe she knew what was going on?]
it's all good i'll just be horrendously slow to compensate :Db
She peeks out again, then slowly walks out in the rain again, trying to keep her pace steady, her eyes glowing a little blue as she starts pooling water around her. Well, being stuck out in the rain with a stranger gives her one advantage... ]
CHEATS WITH JOURNALS
[Holy shit what is even going on. He stands where he is and puts his hands up in what he hopes is a placating manner.]
Wait, wait! I don't want any trouble, I just want to know what's going on!
ALL GOOD!!
... Your name isn't Shuji, is it?
I couldn't resist
To hell with this. To hell with this city, to hell with this work, and to hell with the weird shit that started bouncing around in his head again after he came back here. The story of a King Owes and the Red Bird kept floating back into his head when his mind wandered. And memories of protecting some scruffy dumbass from a monster came to him when he closed his eyes for too long. He lowered his head and ran faster. Between that and the rain and wind in his eyes, it's no wonder he bumped into someone.]
...hey!
[And now that was added to the pile of crappy, annoying things that the day had brought. Taka stumbled to a halt, turned himself around and readied some much harsher words... and then he just stared. Holy shit. It's the scruffy dumbass.]
SCREE also alternating journals for icons
[Alex flat out stares at the guys, eyes going wide because IT REALLY IS THAT GUY WITH THE DUMB HAIR. After a few moments he steps back.]
You!
Gotcha!
You! You're that... the... fuck! Who the hell are you!?
[Because it was one thing to remember that this guy was a scruffy hobo that needed saving, and another to know, suddenly and deep down, that they knew each other, but neither of those helped explain a goddamned thing.]
no subject
[And yet.]
I should be asking you that! Where did I get these memories from and why are you in them?
[That last part just kind of happened. Alex only realizes how insane it sounds after he's said it.]
no subject
Did this just happen to you? Is this the first you've gotten?
[It is, isn't it? And that thought brings a grin to his face. He's got the upper hand. He likes having the upper hand.]
Ha. Welcome to the "numbers club."
no subject
What the hell is that?
no subject
Come on! It's too wet for this!
[And he'll be moving to somewhere more dry, with only a single glance back to make sure that not-so-much-a-scruffy-hobo is actually following.]
no subject
[He paused only a moment to really question what was going on. It took T-minus five minutes for his life to go from mildly frustrating to what the fuck. He could maybe just. Not follow him. Catch that cab and forget this ever happened.]
[Yeah, no. Alex met Taka under the awning. Now that they were so close, Alex takes a moment to finally get a good look at him. There's no mistaking who he was.]
So.
no subject
Yeah.
[He tosses his head, turns about, and puts on the best look of 'I totally know what I'm doing' that he's got.]
This sort of shit's happening to people all over the city. They start remembering stuff. Or changing. [He makes a vague gesture at his stupid hair and snorts, before continuing.] Everyone gets a number rattling around in their head, too. You write it down, or you put it on your phone, or something? It hooks you up with everyone else. That's the 'numbers club'. Don't ask me. I didn't name the thing.
