Hang on I'll get it okay?! Don't be afraid! They're more afraid of you than you are of them!

[Because that spider totally seems afraid. Tsubomi digs into her bag and pulls out a heavy book, attempting to swat at it.]

( sophia is MORE THAN HAPPY to get out of the way and let tsubomi handle it!! in fact, she's pretty positive she's a lot more afraid of this spider than it is of her — that thing hates her, she knows it — so the more distance, the better. )

( not that she'll be any help, sorry, too busy getting a safe distance away and shaking out her skirt just in case. )

[She lifts the book slightly and sees smeared spider all over the underside. Gross but effective. Mostly gross though.

Tsubomi nods and starts trying to scrape it off using the bench.]

Yep! It's dead. Are you okay though?

( she's totally pale and freaked out because spiders are serious business, but that aside. she's also peering past tsubomi a bit to be quite, quite sure that there aren't any more.

[She can tell Sophia is still shaken and it reminds her a little of when her sisters are afraid, so she checks around the bench just to prove there aren't anymore spiders left.]

It's not a problem. It's a nice day today so it wouldn't be fair if something ruined it.
