TEST DRIVE MEME

Scenarios:
> The Park. Man, what a nice day out. Why not enjoy it? I'm sure -- shit, yep, there's some echo monsters.
> The Mall. Exactly what it says on the tin! Dodge the hordes of teenage mallrats or take part, whichever suits your tastes.
> Rainy Day. Agh, it's fucking awful out. And is it raining those vermilion things?? Now you've got an Echo to contend with on top of everything else. Find some shelter, quick!
> PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. HOW FUN
> Arts and Crafts Fair. All the kitschy fun you can imagine.

Better to support the local economy, though. [Unfortunately that it's a small local store went against them today; a bigger store would have had another till to open.] And think of the poor cashier! I thought she was going to cry for a moment there.

[He shook his head at the mention of the poor girl; his sympathies were entirely with her.] That poor girl. She had far more patient then I would have in that situation. I would have decked him one already and probably gotten myself fired as a result.

She shouldn't have had to be patient for so long; her manager should have come sooner. [Gabriel purses his lips, frowning faintly at the injustice there. And then it returns to his normal smile.] But in that case it's just as well that you're not the one on the tills!

[Then he frowns too at the reminder of the manager.] Yeah, where was that guy anyway? He should at least have taken over the till or something.

Where will you go to get your pencils now, if you need them today?
no subject
Bleh. I came here today because it was closer to my house. Now I'll have to go to the other side of the city for them. IF they have them at all.
no subject
He won't be in there all day. Get a drink and then go back - it'll save you time in the long run. [He suggests. That's what he's planning on doing anyway, even though he could probably get paper elsewhere. He doesn't want the business to miss out because of this.]
no subject
That's not a bad idea. I could probably use a coffee.
no subject
He also likes the coffee shop because he's badgered them into making tea how he likes it, but that's by the by.]

What about you?
I'm Gabriel, by the way.
no subject
Me? I'm a coffee drinker mostly, though I don't object to tea now and then.
