[That he does, not wanting anything to happen to it. It's shiny... Ethan takes a minute to appreciate the handcrafted card, his hand eventually going to the message at the bottom as if to make sure it's really there. Had he... really left that much of an impression? He looks up at her, and grins.]

I don't really know what I did, but you're welcome. I'll always be around, whenever you need.

[And he doesn't even realize what he's doing. Poor sap. He registers that she's clutching the ribbon of her dress, but he doesn't get why - is she nervous?]

[Taking a breath, she smiles to cover up the slight bit of disappointment. It wasn't a confession of love, so why is she disappointed? Dropping the end of her ribbon, she clutches her hands together to keep them from tugging or picking at anything in particular.]

It's always the heroes who don't know they're heroes. [She says with a small laugh, it's something she's noticed with a lot of people. Too many don't realize how needed they are, or how helpful they can be.]

I hope you like them. They're nothing special, but I hope you like them.
