[the monster is distracted by the arrival of a new challenger person and turns for a moment to look at Maggie. Nyah takes the opportunity to stab it in the eye with her branch, dashing towards the older woman as it howls in pain.

her attack obviously isn't going to be the end of the thing, so she's only slowing down a little bit as she comes abreast of Maggie.]

I don't think we're going to make much of a dent in it by ourselves!

[Once Nyah is with her, Maggie isn't quite as worried. After encountering the cybernetic Blood Keys and stone snakes Maggie was a little more confident in her abilities to defend herself, but she still wasn't about to make any assumptions of what this creature could do.]
