[Oh? It seems the girl is showing her teeth. He chuckles and pushes his cloak aside, revealing a long iron staff topped with a ram's skull clutched in a bony, clawed hand.]

You did well enough against my creation. Let's see what you're really capable of.

[One hand goes to the sword's hilt, and it is drawn in a flash.]

That thing was scarcely worth having Bakuzan's edge sullied by its blood.

[She drops the sheath and takes a stance, raising the blade defensively.]

If you're its creator, I can't say that leaves me with high hopes for your own worthiness.

It's an impressive blade.

[His eyes glow red again and he swings the staff around toward her.]

I look forward to seeing it mounted on my wall when I take it from you.

[The eyes of the ram's skull flare for an instant before firing a blast of raw destructive power at her. Enough to reduce a human being to a cinder.]

[Impressive blade or not, Saretha is not fool enough to take that blast head on. She slides to the side, able to keep surprisingly good traction against the damp ground, allowing the blast to fly beside her. Bakuzan flipped around parallel to her arm, she raises her hand to a series of three clasps on her left arm.]

Still a coward, if you're not going to meet an opponent head on.

[The clasps are flicked down, a series of three unseen needles jamming into her skin.]

That gap can be closed easily enough.

[The white dress she wears quickly runs red with her own blood coursing through it, before light erupts from her.]

[As the light fades a moment later, the clothing has formed into armor.

Well.

Limited armor. Extremely limited armor, primarily over her shoulders and arms, and legs. Everything else? Was notably minimal.]

[Saretha seems nonplussed by the exposure though, and instead is bursting across the ground at an inhuman speed, blade held to her side.]

[ooc - Terminology tentative. Still internally debating on the whole "Kamui" thing.]

[The blast shoots past Saretha, blowing a crater in the street where she was a moment ago. He aims the staff her way, but then the flash of light consumes her and he raises a hand to cover his face from it.]

[By the time it clears, she's already coming his way with superhuman speed. Fast enough that he doesn't really have the time to... appreciate the costume change before she's upon him. He does shift the staff to both hands, holding it up to meet Bakuzan when she swings at him.]

[Blade meets staff, and there is an explosion of pure concussive force which erupts around them from the sheer impact. The water around them rises and its even enough to blow away the raindrops falling for just a few moments. Saretha grits her teeth, but it twists into a smirk.]

Moderately impressive.
