The All-Purpose CR/Plotting Meme

A last round of the CR/Plotting Meme for Season 1 - gear up further for the finale and/or breather and/or entrance into Season 2! And, of course, no end of more general purposes.

As always, the meme's open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE; there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters - when doing so, please label with characters' reincarnated names (if decided!) and pre-incarnated names and canons in the comments' subject lines.

Character: Anthony Janvier
Pre-Incarnation: Anthony - Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His immediate family consists of only two caring but workaholic parents who've been defaulted to in assumption as having educationally-related professions - neither actively desired (unless-well on the off chance one might be entertaining the idea of apping canonmate Paul Luther in which case I'd be fascinated by the potential to lay most anything out) and likely to have by now dropped patience and declared him runaway. He also has quite a host of relatives French-Catholic in background, including one married aunt and several cousins he was particularly close to when he was small. Agreeable, well-read, and eager-to-please as he is, he was also a bit of a teacher's pet in elementary and much of middle school.

Open/Wanted CR: Anything that'll stick is very much welcome - particularly so would be anyone he can be himself around. So to speak. And especially in the form of p'raps more casual CR around his own age and a bit of a challenge in the form of encouragement/inspiration and/or something to the tune of rivalry or similarly less-harmonious CR - he's not notably clashed with anyone thus far!

Other Info: He's coming out of Wise Snake's rampage on the 9th sans both eyes - with it intended for him to receive some sort of magical ability to see or not-quite-see without them within the next couple of months, to mark the start of gaining Echoes arcane in nature and/or more informative than any he's been getting up to this point. He'll be willing to bond and/or converse over the topics of magic, swords, and/or historical-ish Echoes, among any number of other things - on top of that he's going to be a bit anxious to make himself present and worth talking to and quick to lend either of his swords or his item-repairing spell, once he's sure the last one's safe!

Beyond that he's currently staying with Nick Burkhardt, and where he's going and exactly how he's going to make himself involved come Season 2 is likely dependent on where CR takes him.

Nick'd get him a seeing-eye dog if he could, man. D:

BUT baring that, maybe they can work together on trying to help Anthony get his bearings and such despite the blindness, possibly eventually leading to continuing sword lessons, just heavily modified? Nick did something very similar with weapons training in canon when he was temporarily blind, and the same thing that blinded him also magically granted him super-hearing to compensate for his lack of vision, so of course, there could be some echo-age!

I'm not sure if you had plans to get Anthony's magical ability to not-quite-see back, or if having him witness/hear about someone else's echo of being blind and magically getting an ability to compensate for the lack of sight would be enough to trigger Anthony's own echo, but if so, it's a possibility!

But ahww that'd be lovely - and I suppose quote-unquote convenient, for haa, Echo-age indeed - and I was expecting to try requesting it with another obligatory wave of the curse, failing any external trigger, but whether or not that might do it I think may very well depend! And if nothing else it'll probably make for something to talk about. XD
