Thank you!

I've been enjoying Jack as well, just am sort of kinda canon blind outside of 'men in bug-faced armor beating up guys in rubber monster suits' kind of stuff.

Those are the basics, and the basics do get the job done for StE purposes. (Most of the drama thus far has been "aaah I am turning into a tokusatsu rubbersuit monster", so.) I'm not super familiar with Shou's canon either, but I'm thinking I ought to check it out. It looks cool.

I admit that I have watch Kamen Rider Decade because of REASONS but I mostly got that out of the show next to the important fact that Decade is a creator and a destroyer. In order to create worlds he has to destroy the damage in the first place.

It's a movie so no need to go sloshing through 20+ episodes to figure it out. It is also a bit of a rookie movie since most of the actors are more used to playing instruments than they are to actual acting.

Reasons, eh? ;D Ahahah, Kamen Rider is a lot of fun as a whole, but there is generally a whole season of stuff to slog through if you want to get a particular Rider's story down. Decade is one of the ones that I've been meaning to get around to!

Yes. Reasons. Like Joji Yuki reasons.

Those are pretty good reasons.

It's a little weird since I don't try to pick up not!Gackts but I end up doing so anyways, and he doesn't make a big appearance. However, he is the main scientist that created the drivers that Decade and Diend use. He also evades most of the forced of Dia-Shocker and shows up to pimpsmack some sense into Decade. He's not a weak character just a bit confusing and I wished they were able to actually use him a lot more like they were going to.

Gotta love mad scientists, eh? This is really making me want to go grab Decade and power through it! I've got a huge backlog of shows already, but Decade keeps popping up in things and I am often stuck going "wait, what?" whenever he's there.

Yeah, especially mad scientists that get their arms ripped off as punishment and instead of whining about it, he makes a better arm for himself and decides that he is a Rider his little speech to Decade is that a Rider fights no matter what they lost during the fighting for to give up is not a Rider's way.

With Decade, it's like he's a Doctor - he just flips through time and space, looking for 'home' and along the way, he pitches in to give people a hand they never thought they needed. Course there is a bit more than that, and the movie pretty much spelled it out what he really is, but he moves about what he learns about himself to become a Rider.
