1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.

What made you decide to bring Dallen and Ivan to STE?

the main reasons are mostly because i wanted to play out silly aus with my friends! *u* but what made me stay: the plot & endless opportunities for character growth. dallen/davesprite is someone i've always loved playing but never got the chance to fully flesh out in the games i've brought him in the past, and STE is giving me that opportunity. \o/ ivan is a new muse, and he's just — well, will be a perfect fit once he echoes back more of his hero memories, heh.

everything that is unexpected.

i love all types of cr, but i think the ones that come out from me just randomly tagging someone are the best kinds. it usually ends up as things i never knew i needed in my life & that makes for a whole lot more entertainment. \o/

hi i fail at this game & forgot to ask one back, but!

out of everyone you play, is there someone whose character growth is taking a completely different direction than what you've planned? if that made sense ahhh.

Anthony wound up a bit different than I'd expected right out the gate, in fact! Of the game's first-week cast, he wound up being the youngest character (and he wouldn't have been if I hadn't undershot his canon age, which I only saw Word Of Developers state somewhere a month or two after I'd apped him in), and his starting CR got him used to being not only uptight and ingenue-ish as I'd been expecting but sort of cowed and sheepish toward others. I'd expected his course in-game to be a slowed-down different take/reprisal/expansion on the way canon goes for him but with a better ending - he's deviated from the way I imagine his canon self more than I'd expected, and he's getting to be in less of the constant active fight I expected him to be putting up accordingly. Instead of actively fighting through things, I s'pose it's looking like he's learning to not-exactly-grin and bear and balance his Echoes, learn exactly that he can't do what he expected himself to be able to do most comfortably, and find a way to direct his energy elsewhere/outside of the figurative shell that he wound up having.

Have you been roleplaying long? What's been one of your favorite threads/bits of CR you've gotten/plots or logs you've played out involvement in?

yes, indeedy! i started ljrp back in '07? and i think one of my favourite threads involve me comment-spamming the hell out of the other party (my longest one is 32 comments, oops). i would have to say one of my favourite CR is developing a dad/daughter familial type relationship with two characters who aren't even from the same canon. ;_; favourite plot would be the time i organized a shady underground type bar-thing for a mafia crew, haha.

Out of all the Homestuck humans/trolls/mayors one could possibly play, what made you pick Davesprite?

dave has always been a favourite of mine, so when dspry came along, i was sold: hook, line, & sinker. i picked him because he doesn't get appreciated enough by his own canon. :( he's practically living up to his Second Dave fate & THAT SUCKS. he's such a great character with his (somewhat) maturity and dry humour that's so vastly different from dave, so yeah. tl;dr i love him a lot.

Heh, I can sympathize with that. I play Psii at another game partly because he gets screwed over so badly by canon.

I'll be excited for Alex to get the ability to acquire new morphs! I'm sure there will be Shenanigans because of it. And I want him to get some of Ax's mindset about the military chain of command back, mostly so that he can decide Nick Burkhardt is his prince.

Are there any beasties/items for Season Two you're especially excited about?
