1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.

How do you do Tarot readings for fictional characters on the internet, anyway?

Uhhh well prefacing this by saying I don't recommend it tbh.

Besides that? I actually drew and spread them. Used a proper deck and everything. From there, it's a matter of banging out a reading and interpretation IC without trying too hard to tailor it to the character, depending on their CR and how much my character might be able to fill in the gaps accordingly.

How long have you played Asuka?

On and off since February of 2009 oh my fuck SRWUG was five years ago why. Not counting a thinly veiled parody of her I played in a D&D game. She was the first character I ever wanted to play in fandom RP, albeit the second I actually apped because it was easier to work someone else into the plot before her.

How about you, who was your first fandom RP character?

If you didn't play Asuka here, who would you play?

Well, Homura was really fun and it might be more doable to play her if she was the only character I had, but at the same time I like having at least one character eager to do things...

Teen Titans cartoon: Best animated comic adaptation, or best no I can't finish that question when BTAS exists. But anyway I can guess your preference between them and the series, but what do you think about the Teen Titans comics?

What made you decide to go with making Rachel an adult?

Well, first off, existing castmate was reincarnated as a twenty-something! So I wanted to work off of that. But also I felt like it would give me some more flexibility.

Apping Raven as a teenager would have been fun in its own way - and I really enjoyed working out that part of her AU backstory - but I feel like it would have been limiting in what I could actually do with her. I wanted to keep a strained and very distant relationship with her father, for instance (even if it's a very different relationship from the one Raven has with Trigon!), but I felt like it'd be hard to do that believably at her canon age range without making it OTT teen angst.

There are a few factors besides that, but those are the biggest ones I can name right now.

Why Neopets?

Okay I'm pretty sure you know Lavvy right? (I assume people know each other too much though oops).

"It's Lavvy's fault" is the quickest explanation.

But ever since Facility it has been Lavvy and I's goal to have the most ridiculous CR possible in any game we may happen to be in together. And she was in STE when I apped, and actually apping another character herself. So we started talking about the kind of stupid pre-network CR we could give them. Somehow a joke about Skeith from .hack finding out about the Skeiths in Neopets(they're like, really fat dragons kinda) turned into Shinji and Haseo being Neofriends. The ridiculous things I could do with Shinji Ikari playing Neopets spiraled out of control from there.

Is Cain's development towards being more like Enter going how you expected it to?

Oh. I actually knew and forgot about it, whoops.

Yes and no! Partially because I never had a strict timetable in mind, more a loose progression. Having castmates from the actual Go-Busters team has helped change the course a little. I'm still holding off on making Cain more like Enter via personality echoes, and his development thus far has gone in an entirely different direction. Cain started out fairly uninterested in all of this, but as time has gone on he's started actively trying to help the network - even if it is out of basic enlightened self-interest. He's almost a halfway heroic character right now, which I never thought would happen. Still, I always sort of planned to build him up in one direction before I started tearing it all down.

What's life like at Casa Ikari?

A good portion of the time it's just Shinji and Rei home alone with the animals. Their parents are both married to their jobs and their dad's even currently working overseas. Shinji's a good cook and a bit of a neat freak as opposed to his twin who is a lazy slob and awful in the kitchen so. He yells at Rei to pull her own weight around the house all the time but ultimately he gets really grumpy if these things aren't done to his standards and he ends up doing a lot of it himself.

After Wise Snake, though, Shinji's mom has obviously not been working as much...Shinji and Rei stayed at a hotel for awhile at the FBI's request, but after coming home their father definitely decided to uh. Visit his family and get some things sorted out. It's pretty tense right now and Shinji's so used to being alone with his sister that having his parents around this much is making him extra anxious.

OKAY THOUGH SPEAKING OF THAT JOURNAL, what are your goals for apping Naoto?
