Questions Meme
As first posted here by Emely!:
1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.
5. Have a lot of fun! ♥
Season 2 begins tomorrow, all, and there've been plenty of developments and new blood since the first round - get the words flowin', get to know/re-know some of your gamemates, and/or simply shoot the breeze~

What made you settle on Ryuko to come back with?
no subject
Really, it comes down to being as simple as I wanted back in quick and she was the strongest AU in my head at the time. But I also thought it would be interesting to try something new since most of my characters are more on the calm, collected and thoughtful side of things so playing a character like her is a much different experience.
What kind of music, if any, do you listen to while tagging?
no subject
FOR MUSIC? It depends on who and what I'm tagging for. A lot of times I'll actually play music from a character's canon or themed towards them. If it's a certain kind of event I've got some play lists of BGMs from a variety of movies that can be pretty effective towards pumping me up.
Or sometimes it's just whatever's most recent on my playlist that I'm really digging.
This is a cheap shot, but the same question? I'm curious.

Right now there's a lot of the Kill la Kill soundtrack going on, for obvious reasons, and I've been tossing in some Fairy Tail and Tales songs in there as well.
I asked this question on another thread but I'll repeat it here. What kind of scene would you most like to see happen between our characters?

(Off-hand, I don't have one I EXPLICITLY want to recreate for Neil.)
So what made you choose Cat?

( A. ) An experiment, actually! I tend to prefer the second characters I play in games, rather than the first. I like to get to know the players and setting a lot more before bringing in characters that I'm really attached to. While many people know Dianna Wynne Jones because of Howl's Moving Castle, Chrestomanci is actually my favorite series of hers (the concept is fantastic). Out of the characters, I adore Cat and I've only played him once before, years ago on Livejournal. At that time, it was another AU game, and unfortunately those games are a dying breed in the last several years. I have a lot of book muses, but I find them difficult to play in other game types simply due to a character's canon, played by, cast leanings, or age. On top of that, Cat's quite young in canon and the world's biggest doormat at the beginning, so being able to liven him up is a little more exciting. Since Sophie will be dropping the game, it makes sense to move him away with her and now that I'm acclimated to the game, I have a better idea what kind of characters will work in the setting. Plus, I got to briefly play a character I don't get to play very often. Win/win situation all around, really. I'm pretty pleased to go out as the kid who turned Skyler into a hamster and let the entire network laugh at him for several days.
( Q. ) What made you choose your character's AU names, and alternative, why did you choose to keep Neil's name the same as canon?
no subject
Also the hamster thing was a highlight for Lily after the Wise Snake madness.Lily's name was easy - "Yuri" translates to "Lily." Yuri's family name - "Tsukikakge" - relates to the moon, and thus... We (Jasmine's mun and I) sought something else which did the same, hence "Tsukuyomi."
Neil is simple - he has enough names as it is. As well, I kind of primarily identify him as "Lockon Stratos" and it sort of feels like he did in a way, as well. For all intents and purposes, "Neil Dylandy" was a man who either no longer existed, or was no longer able to exist. This Neil is quite different in that regard, clearly.
Any thoughts to how you have Cat planning on handling the fact the Network and reincarnates are suddenly known quantities by the world at large?
no subject
The assumption is to get away from the crazy and live a normal life somewhere. The reality is more like they'll move and stuff may still happen and they'll just have to learn to deal with it. Luckily, between the two of them, they can appear quite normal. There's no magical transformations or giant robots to deal with. Both have magic, and it's a natural kind of magic that's just thought, will, or speech.
At current, Cat is still trying to figure out exactly what his echoes mean, which means he's had very little time to come to terms with the fact the world knows about them. First wise snake, being injured and in the hospital, and then hamster!Skyler means he's just been a little too overwhelmed to sit down and cope. I'm sure Sophie is worrying enough for both of the, cue the move. OOCly, I'll probably have Cat check in during 4th wall events and stuff like that should I feel the need to catch up with characters. Most people that he at least exchanged names with will probably get his real cell number if they want to stay in touch.
( Q. ) Anyone you're considering apping in the future?
