Questions Meme

As first posted here by Emely!:

1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.
5. Have a lot of fun! ♥

Season 2 begins tomorrow, all, and there've been plenty of developments and new blood since the first round - get the words flowin', get to know/re-know some of your gamemates, and/or simply shoot the breeze~

It took me ages to decide if I wanted to go with giving her a radically different and more privileged background, or something that would resemble her canon circumstances at least somewhat. In the end I decided for the latter because it would have made it hard to play her if I had changed her background that much, at least for me. And then it kind of was an exercise of "I can't make it as bad and I'd like to not make it touchy while still making her very jaded"... and then I thought that living on the streets for a bit would work well. And then I saw no reason to not have her be involved with low-key-ish crime...

Ffffffffffffff oh gosh this is hard Aidan's face But more seriously story wise... I have a stupid weak point for Thorin's last words in the book. In the movies it's either gotta be Tauriel or Dwalin headbutting orcs in the panoramic of Azanulbizar while everyone else is using their weapons like reasonable persons.

...this is a super silly question but what is the meaning of Kanti's username?

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS QUESTION ALL THIS TIME

A vetala is basically the closest thing I could find as an Indian equivalent to a vampire, even though they're not really the same thing. Particularly, it's from Hindu folklore actually. They're essentially spirits who posses dead bodies and use them to move around. They can be either good or bad, just like people. The bad ones basically manipulate people into breaking down, while the good ones tend to protect villages and so on.

I figured it was suitable considering the premise of the game, as well as the background I gave Kanti and the history of her preincarnation.

I agree with literally everything you just said regarding The Hobbit. P much why Dwalin is my homedwarf tbh. I am about like... so many episodes behind Attack on Titan tho. So many... I think I stopped at 9 because my attention span is garbage. That said, as far as AoT goes, manga or anime?

I'm actually as canonblind as any person with eyes and ears can be these days, so I have no clue what her preincarnation's history is. Is she some kind of vampire?

Mangaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa mostly because I have watched like one ep of the anime, and... I'm really bad at watching anything. I keep getting up and running around or pausing movies. Reading is much nicer and more effective |D Also from what I can assume Ymir hasn't really had much of a role in the anime yet? Unless they added a lot of stuff.

WOW that was not the right account for this response or even this game SHHHHH

Short version? Sorta.
Long version? It's never entirely specified, so "some kind of vampire" is about as good as the description gets. She's called a rainbow drinker, which is an alien vampire from an alien race. Buuuuut she's also from a webcomic that doesn't take itself too seriously, so she wound up being half-Twilight parody and half-folklore fuckabout. The only concrete information we have is that you don't have to die to become what she is, you can't be turned into what she is (it's a blood color thing), and that she isn't technically dead. I imagine I'm going to have to slap a lot of "it's implied"s in her future echo requests.

What's your favorite little historical joke/reference in Hetalia? Either generally or Sweden specific.
