1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.

Season 2 begins tomorrow, all, and there've been plenty of developments and new blood since the first round - get the words flowin', get to know/re-know some of your gamemates, and/or simply shoot the breeze~

She's less of a goodnatured tease and more of an honest jerk much of the time, and it's fun to just have her straight up be mean to someone. Unfortunately(?) she's getting better about it.

What's the most interesting difference between Shinjis?

Hahaha oh man I get you there. That's...literally why I apped a cranky character recently tbh. Shinji and Sasha aren't mean enough.

Probably having a family that actually cares about him while still being shy and depressed etc etc. In particular his close relationship with his twin sister is interesting because in canon he doesn't have that kind of closeness with anyone. The only person he even started to open up to at all was Kaworu and well. That didn't last long. I didn't want to change how withdrawn he is from most people, though, so it became about framing things differently. His preincarnation is a kid who literally didn't know what being cared about even felt like for most of his life, but here he's contemplating that society treats loving your family like an obligation. Would any of them care about him without that obligation? He can't think of anything about himself to like. He didn't have any friends before the network. Being able to open up to his sister does nothing for how he relates to others, because they just ended up unhealthily dependent on each other and not talking to anyone else. Now that they're on the network they've been branching out and it's interesting to see them adjust.

This account was created January 3rd 2012 for SMH and I'd been memeing with her a little bit here and there for a few months on LJ, so two years and some change + a speckling of memes.

What made you want to pick up Shinji?

It's kind of hard to place. He was pretty far from my usual type at the time--the anti-socialness is something I have a lot of experience with but it's not shyness with the characters I tend to play. They're just grumpy assholes who are bad at making friends. Shinji's a very passive person and that's also not something I was used to.

So with that in mind everyone(myself included) expected me to pick up Asuka since she's 100% my usual type, or maybe Kaworu. But I don't know, I really attached myself to the kid enough to want to give something new a try.

If you apped a second here, who would it be?

Right now? The most likely is IRA GAMAGOORI from Kill la Kill. A little outside of my usual range, but he's a fantastic character and we always need more LARGE HAMS. He'd be a good counterpart to Arthur lol.

What castmate do you most want for Shinji?

Definitely Misato Katsuragi! And not just because she can echo back a penguin. It'd be really funny with some of the extremely awkward echoes he has related to her(including: the sexy photo of her she sent to him so he'd know what she looked like when she came to pick him up in the first episode). Plus with her being the closest thing he has to a real parental figure in canon it'd be interesting to see how STE plays out.

Anywho I already knew quite a few people here from the start, both people like you and ones I've rped with for a long long time like Nerdo and Prof. StE takes the stuff I liked about the idea of playing memory loss games without pinging me with the stuff I don't like about them, and then Justyne was looking at it and I wanted a new non-porn game for Umi and bada bing bada boom.
