1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.

Have you ever gotten so stressed out that you just stop caring about things you know you should care about and possibly start making some bad decisions? That's Shinji Ikari by the End of Evangelion. In the later episodes you can really see him starting to get detached after all the shit he's gone through on top of the fact that he'd already been struggling with clinical depression. But it's not like he's unaware of what he did in any way. He fully understands that's a reprehensible action. That's actually why he does it. He's looking for more reasons to hate himself, for proof that all of his self loathing is justified. He's openly suicidal at this point, and when someone responds to him talking about how much he needs to die by telling him he needs to keep going anyway? His response is, "You don't understand, I did something terrible to Asuka." It's purposely self-destructive behavior so he can wallow in his own hatred of himself.

Also he's really sexually repressed.

How do you plan on approaching Genophage related memories with Mordin?

poorly no, mordin's already echoed them back as part of his STG work, but the thing is he's a very private person and has lost both of his closest friends to the horror of random drops so there's not too many people he can talk about it with. he doesn't remember that he helped cure the genophage, so right now he's a lot more driven to bring the knowledge of the twenty-second century to as many people as possible.

is shinji actually any good at fighting monsters in giant robots.

Here? Not yet. He has no idea how to pilot the Eva he just echoed back. But in canon? He's actually probably better than Rei or Asuka, despite his insistence that anyone else could do it better and they don't need him. It also helps that whenever he gets his ass kicked he loses control of the robot which has his mom's soul in it and well. Mommy wins the fight for him. And is pretty terrifying in battle tbh.

probably fucking up her relationship with her mother so bad. i didn't change her all that much, but when i suddenly realized i could turn her positive relationship with a forcibly absent mother into a negative one with a willfully absent mother, i jumped at the chance, and even though it doesn't come up much i still love it.
