or rather what is the poorest summary of generator rex season 3 that you have.

oh boy, okay, uhhhhh

Despite it being six months later and Rex having missed a coup and needing to go into hiding to prevent the apocalypse from going full-apocalypse, he still somehow finds the time to goof off and do stupid shit like pretend to be a pageboy on the set of his favorite soap opera. He teams up with Ben 10 in a crossover that is fueled almost entirely by testosterone and dick jousting. Cesar grows a goatee and it's terrible. The show finally answers the questions you've been waiting to hear since episode 1, except not all of them so you still have no fucking idea what happened or why. But it's okay, because everything is resolved by a deus ex machina. (Literally. This is the most literal definition of deus ex machina you could imagine).

did that work? i have no idea, i'm terrible at making shows sound awful.

okay uhhhh if you were absolutely forced to app a third character to StE, who would it be?

i'm not gonna lie i wouldn't mind apping a third character i just don't have time.

i was going to say houka or nonon from kill la kill, but the problem is that they are a SCIENCE character and a small japanese teenage girl respectively and i already have both of those, so i'll instead go with either aikuro mikisugi, or maybe miles morales' spiderman, even though i've yet to read that.


in a similar vein, if you had to app a character from a novel, who would you choose?

i would love a miles morales. no pressure, but like. miles is one of my favorite characters in comics, ever. No clue who aikuro is, but that gif is beautiful.

Uhhhhh hmmm I know there is a special quality that distinguishes novels from other books and I don't know what it is, so I'm gonna go for "a book that is over 200 pages long" or something like that. In which case, I've played Charlie Asher from Christopher Moore's A Dirty Job before, and he very much fits my usual archetype of "doofy but heroic loser dude" and "has superpowers relating to dead people", so I know almost for a fact he'd be fun to play. For more variety (and difficulty), I could try playing Lev from Neal Shusterman's Unwind series again--he's more serious, more morally complex, and a lot more suspicious than the characters I typically go for.

i'm not familiar with the distinction either i probably should stop using the words interchangeably.

oh man answering this gets complicated

see i don't rank things in lists - i rank them in tiers, and i rank them according to two separate systems - how good they are and how much i like them. homestuck, for example, occupies a top tier on both, but something like kill la kill only ranks decently on quality even though it's pretty high on how much i like it. ranking things within the same tier is damn near impossible for me.

so for second tier enjoyment, i'll go with gunnerkrigg court, and for second tier quality, i'll go with kill la kill.

Second favorite anime is probably....Tiger and Bunny. I am rewatching that one right now, even.

When did you get into RP, and who did you play then?

i got into RP basically around this time last year, with legion from mass effect at jarjammed.

if you'd apped danny as an adult, what would he have been like?

How long have you been playing Danny?

I've played him continuously siiiiince, uhhh....November 22nd, 2006. Except for a year, between summer 2012 and summer 2013, when I didn't play him anywhere.

So let me turn that back around on you: how long have you been playing Shinji?

Oh wow, that's an admirably long time.

I actually only picked up Shinji a little under a year ago! I was honestly really intimidated by the idea of apping from Eva so I was just planning to musebox, but then when I was looking at STE it occured to me...this is the perfect game for Eva characters. It's not the most well-known fact since it's from some obscure supplementary material but there's actually reincarnation in Eva canon, and there are probably timeloops so yeah resets are kind of common and basically it all seemed really fitting so that outweighed how nervous the idea of sticking him in a game made me.

What made you decide to app Chuck/Rex?

I'd been waffling on Rex for a while--I played him before, but he's a character I only app to memory loss games because, as someone who has amnesia in canon, it's really cool to play with the whole DOUBLE AMNESIA, WHOOAAAAAA aspect. (StE is even specialer because Chuck gets to regain Rex's memories both from before and after the amnesia, oooooh, even more exciting!) I kind of rushed him through though when I realized that making him a Blood Key would be an absolutely PERFECT parallel for him, and I think the window for joining the Keys was almost up. Which in hindsight may not have been the best decision--I haven't figured out where exactly I'm going with him just yet so he hasn't done all that much.

...so. Why Shinji's preoccupation with Neopets?

One of friends used to play here and the two of us try our hardest to have really ridiculous cr with each other. And somehow a joke about her character that was related to Neopets turned into "what if he and Shinji were Neofriends?" Which got me thinking a lot about the kind of Neopets player Shinji would be. Because I play Neopets and therefor know enough about it to make this a very overly detailed thing. So at that point it had to happen.

Which castmate do you think you'd want most for Danny?

HOOOBOY OKAY UH well we have a Dani already so she's off the list ahaha. So...probably Valerie or Vlad. I love the relationships they have in canon and it'd be great to see how they could be played with in StE.
