Questions Meme
As first posted here by Emely!:
1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.
5. Have a lot of fun! β₯
Season 2 begins tomorrow, all, and there've been plenty of developments and new blood since the first round - get the words flowin', get to know/re-know some of your gamemates, and/or simply shoot the breeze~

A. I have a whole list, actually. Alice Liddell from American McGee's Alice. Claudia Donovan from Warehouse 13. I have a lot of book and tv show characters who just never seem to fit in. And then I have old muses that have never really been through a game that felt like their home game. I'm also easily enabled. ;_;
Q. Who are you the most excited for with your future applications to STE? Is there a specific scene you're really hoping for?
no subject
A. I'm actually starting to become more and more excited for Deren the more we talk about Gundams stuff. I was really worried with him at first, but I'm a little excited to have a character with a hair trigger with it comes to violence. I feel like Deren could honestly hurt someone when Nicholas will just yell.
Q. Of my characters, is there anyone you would play?
no subject
( Q. ) Fine, reverse that for me. A character I haven't played in any game that you always hope for?

Q. If I have an arch-type I play more, what do you think it is?

( Q. ) If your current and future characters had fatal flaws - what are they?
no subject
A. Holly - Too naive, she's too trusting and believes too heavily in others. She is setting herself up for some SERIOUS heartbreak when/if someone betrays her.
Nicholas - arrogance. He's cruising for a bruising that will bring his ego down just a hair. He's not got his head in the air, but he's not used to defeat.
Deren- Anger. He's a very angry individual who acts mellow but really isn't. His switch is VERY easy to push, surprisingly so. Which is why it will not be hard to get him to fight.
Q. Same question for you~

( A. )
Cat / Eric. Ignorance & Submissiveness. β± Both versions share a mixed combination of apathy and submissive tendencies. Eric allows himself to be a doormat in canon, and Cat would be pushed pretty far in the same way before he'd snap. Still, he doesn't think to ask questions before doing something. Even though he's observant, he just doesn't think things through.
Freya / Kururu. Inadequacy & Optimism. β± Among the friends she's likely to make, Freya will share Kururu's early feelings of inadequacy. Who's to say she's anything special when there's magical girls and super heroes and giant robots all around. She puts every other person first because they're higher on an order of importance in comparison to her. Ironically, this will put her in a self-sacrificing position if a situation arises where someone has to take the fall for the greater good, which is the thing her brother would hate. The only saving grace to this, is Freya is extremely empathetic, and wouldn't want to make someone suffer. She has also never come up against a situation where there was zero hope. She's never lost some kind of internal faith and hit rock bottom to where there were no other choices. She's going to hit a wall pretty quick when/if that happens. She could imagine all she likes and empathize, but she won't be able to make the hard decision (similar to Cassie in Sunshine if you know what I mean).
Akira / Leo. Dependence & Temper. β± On the far opposite spectrum from Leo, Akira is pretty dependent on friends and family for positive emotions and reinforcement. He's a social creature, and likes to be constantly surrounded by active people. If he begins to echo back Leo's personality more, he'll actually start pushing people away as he begins to get more insecure with himself and worried, and the extremely volatile temper from Leo will probably begin to lash out to ensure he's pushing people away. It'll be a much bigger challenge with family and friends than it was in canon, so it's likely he'll have a better support structure. Hell, he has a therapist just for his first echo.
Reagan / Regene. Pride or Sloth. β± Reagan puts very little effort into anything except his schooling. It's something his parents can't buy for him β his own accomplishment that has nothing to do with being from a wealthy family and he's very protective of that fact. His pride is the one thing he does currently share with Regene - never having failed to the point where he doesn't even consider it a possibility. Even when he has a natural intelligence and predisposition to his fields of study, he slacks off on everything else from personal relationships to private interests. Reagan literally has the complex where it must look like his studies are effortless. In reality he's busting his ass when no one looks to make sure every single answer is right. Outside of that, you'll be lucky to drag him out of bed. He hardly goes out of his way for anything. He wouldn't even change if someone didn't drag him out of bed. I'm sure in college, once out of the iron thumb of fashionable mother, he may actually show up in PJs and slippers to class. I'm not putting it passed him.
