Questions Meme
As first posted here by Emely!:
1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.
5. Have a lot of fun! ♥
Season 2 begins tomorrow, all, and there've been plenty of developments and new blood since the first round - get the words flowin', get to know/re-know some of your gamemates, and/or simply shoot the breeze~

So. Winter's mom always made this mac and cheese that the poor girl adored as a little girl. As she grew up, though, April spent more time at the hospital, and so Winter didn't get to actually eat a proper long-cook-time dinner quite so often. So one day when April was off, Winter asked how to make that mac and cheese, so she could try and be self-sufficient in a pinch. We're talking when she's relatively young, here - old enough to be trusted with the stove, but not old enough to be expected to be able to fend for herself. Still, mother-daughter bonding, so she agreed. It took several tries and more than one day off to produce an edible product, and a few more tries before she was able to reproduce the flavor. The last time, she'd asked why it never came out right, and April gave the (typical) answer of putting love in it. That time, she'd put everything into it, and it came out perfect. April had been pleased, and Winter had burst into tears because it was just right.
That macaroni remains her comfort food to this day; it's her go-to thing when she's feeling down, and if she needs a shot of confidence at school, she'll make a batch that morning and bring a Tupperware container of the stuff in for lunch. Oddly, it's kind of become an expression of affection for her, probably because it's so special to her. If she ever makes it for Lily and/or Jasmine, expect her to have pink cheeks the whole night and be babbling a little. And every once in a while, she daydreams about teaching the recipe to her own daughter, somewhere way down the line, and it makes her smile.
...Now I'm off on a totally different tangent which is making me wonder if purple hair passes down through genetics. /headdesk
Has Lily gotten any memories back from Yuri that have just made her... kind of mentally stop and look at the image she has constructed, and wonder what the hell happened to make her the way she is?

Lily will happily take this if it comes, while I stare and wonder similarly. As for Lily there... Yes, definitely. A lot of her specific memories so far have revolved around Yuri's defeat - meaning I actually haven't moved very far into canon at all all things told - but there's one thing that keeps sticking out in her mind: the "first meeting" between Yuri, Tsubomi, and Erika. Yuri comes across so cold and honestly judgmental that even if she places Cologne's death and her defeat mentally before that, she can't quite... wrap her head around it. Lily's never been quite as lost and alone as Yuri was then, and with her current support network of friends is not likely to be. Without her CR and other Cures, she very well MIGHT have taken on the "I'll take up everyone's burdens and not ask for help so I don't make others suffer" mindset that lead to Yrui's defeat, but she doesn't realize that or that Yuri had that mindset.
What probably gives her the most pause is that as much as she doesn't want to admit it, there is a part of her she realizes that's capable of ACTING like that. Bits of that judgmental or cold demeanor have slipped out from time to time, but they're generally much more mild and take a LOT more to be made to surface in Lily. Still, when they do she'll look back at herself and start questioning it again. If anything that's also made her check herself and try to be even more open minded.
In what ways has Winter's development surprised you? Has it?

Winter's development... hoo, boy. When I first brought her in... well. You probably saw a little bit in her app, and especially if you went through some of her early posts - she was very uneasy about everything. But being on the network meant she alone could step forward and take the responsibility that she'd been morally certain she'd signed up for. So she started to push herself, to force herself to keep going. That, by itself, is what's driven a lot of her development - but it's also gone off in a few interesting directions.
One is her relationships; initially I'd planned for her to be too quiet and shy to really make a lot of friends until something major happened. "Something major" turned out to be Banagher, who forced her out of her shell, and to an extent the rest of her early friends, including Bakura and Toushirou. Plain and simple, she should not have been this talkative - or this functional - this early in gameplay. I was expect just now to have her really start coming out of her shell, but the drug bust made her crash hard, and right before I was about ready to stage something drastic to bring her out of it and start her becoming useful... and then Jasmine went and threw her a surprise party, and she went full beloved princess mode.
One of the others, though, is that she's become a lot more forceful about things than I'd anticipated. Stock Winter doesn't feel strongly about very many things, and she actually pushes back on almost nothing. And yet, we have a girl now that has a lot of strong opinions, and can clearly express her desires. She'll scream and she'll fight and she'll stand in the way, and I'm really surprised by it sometimes. But at the same time, she hasn't lost the things that made her who she was. The caring about her important people. Her drive to protect. The few things that really shaped her in my head are still there, and perhaps stronger than ever. I really enjoy those things, at least.
...There are probably a few other things - particularly that Winter has a few less-than-pure thoughts about relationships as she gets further into them - but I don't have quite solid enough thoughts to express them on paper, sorry.
Is there any one trait you wish you had an excuse to give Lily that she doesn't already have? For that matter, if Lily could Echo any one thing freely, with or without context, what would it be?
