Or your workplace is trashed, if not some real estate you had in the area, and you'll be needing a helping hand - or are trying to offer one!
> Help, help, I've been robbed - your bag or wallet's just been snatched, or is in the process of being snatched. Catch the snatcher or rough them up - you may or may not be surprised, if you come to blows or a chase, to find on throwing a punch that they're much quicker and/or sturdier than you'd have expected. Maybe someone will dive in to back you up.

[Robyn didn't want to bother Stella while she was reading, but that book was one she had been trying to get a hold of for awhile. No matter she went it always seemed to be on order or sold out.

So Robyn decided the best course of action was to slide up behind the chair Stella was sitting in and just read from over her shoulder. It's not until Stella goes to turn the page that she speaks up again.]

Woah, hold on! I'm not done with that one yet!

[At the sound of the voice behind her, Stella jumps a bit at the unexpected noise so close to her, turning her head and staring at Robyn for a second. But then there's a soft giggle. She's more amused than angry about it, evidently. She shifts slightly, closer so they can both read.]

Sorry. Was this one you've been trying to get from the library too? It's apparently pretty popular, so I figured I should check it out since I work in the library.

[Robyn's caught off guard when Stella jumps and stumbles back a step herself. She'll breath a sigh of relief when the other girl just giggles, she'll move closer to get a better look at the book again.]

Oh! Don't worry about it, I was kind of intruding anyways.

Yeah, but it's been sold out or borrowed from every place I've been too so far.

I know, I was lucky I managed to reserve this copy from the library. But I can let you know when I am finished and you can reserve it after me so I can hold it for you? I work there, so it wouldn't be a problem, assuming nobody else has reserved it since I got it out I mean.

[The book is at her lap now, spread between them so they can both read it easily and comfortably. She knows what a frustration it can be to want to read something and be unable to. The annoyance and fear of people spoiling it for you. So Stella understands. And she likes to do what she can to help if possible.]

Really? You'd do that for me? That'd be awesome!

I would have reserved it myself a while back, but I just moved here recently and it completely slipped my mind until now.
