Hello, current Earthlings and potential appers alike!

How'd it be if your deadbeat father, school-age daughter, or ex-lover turned up on the network?

Come on in and use this meme to list notable friends, relatives, acquaintances, etc. of your characters or characters who you plan on bringing in who are available to turn out to be fellow reincarnates! Give basic necessary descriptions and information of the people in question (so, say, your character from a strict household doesn't wind up getting a mother who is by nature as impossibly laid-back as they come!) and plan as you like with others!

Well, not a relation, per se, but I'd totally love to see Tamara's asshole ex end up as one of the reincarnates.

I was pretty vague with him. He's a year older than her and wouldn't come from Locke City. Has a rich family and was popular in school. He dated Tamara more to use her to get passing grades and then spread rumors about her being easy after they broke up. She retaliated by hacking his social media accounts and posting photoshopped porn of him and having him confess to being a liar and scum. Yeah, he's the cause of the existence of that lovely little virus she made and also her first echo.

Thing is, she hates him enough that she probably wouldn't have picked Locke City for college if she knew he was here, so transfer student would likely be better. Everything else is pretty wide open. They would have dated for about 6 months to a year.

Oh yeah, and she still has copies of what she photoshopped and has no problem making use of it again.

Also, considering that Haley is asking about ex girlfriends for Sasame, there is one who ended up getting Tamara's services in defacing his reputation when they broke up. This one would more than likely be a messy breakup and within the past couple of years, but I'm open to it if Haley is cool with it.

Alternatively, for my other character, Leonhardt, he has a few more openings.

He does have two siblings, though I fully admit that I left that wide open for his two adopted siblings from canon. Though being real, I highly doubt anyone would ever app them because oh god, the sheer amount of untranslated canon for those two and one of them isn't even in any of the translated canon yet. His little brother is 17 and his little sister is 12. Yeah, huge age differences, but he is still pretty close to them despite it. Little brother would have some skills with a sword, didn't mention much about the sister at all. So I am open there since I doubt he'll get his canon siblings.

But since he has no canon parents, I'd be open for his parents to be reincarnates. His father is a fencing instructor and his mother is a nurse. Only obvious requirement is being old enough to have a 27 year old son. ~~Though I admit it would be hilarious if his father was Cassius Bright reincarnated, not that anyone else here would get the joke.~~

I've been seriously playing around with the idea of Colette having a half-brother or half-sister from her mother's affair with another man around the time she married what Colette thought was her biological dad! If anyone would like to end up being related to Colette in this way, let's work something out 8)))

Right now she's unaware of she actually has any half-siblings or not, because her parents have been keeping things generally hush hush from her so as not to upset her.

Fuck I have no idea about Autobots but we should get some in here too :V AND MAXIMALS/PREDACONS. Maybe Waspinator was someone she bullied in elementary school.

I kind of established Asuka's parents in her app (tl;dr spoilers she's the other Asuka's twin sister but was put up for adoption and adopted by rich jerks who never told her about all this) and she probably doesn't have a sibling.

However! She is a 14-year-old who's attending college courses on a special program, so she might have friends ~~okay let's be honest here, acquaintances~~ from her previous junior high or the university, as well as more distant relations. In this universe she's mainly notable for being a fairly manic genius ~~Asian kid stereotype~~ with a bad attitude toward everyone. Also a small possibility of an ex-boyfriend who probably went on one date with her.

ETA: So I totally read like... one response to this and then got way the wrong idea XD Bah. Trying again....

For Arhu, his only mentioned family are other kittens and his mother. Who I doubt would get picked up at all XD But if anybody WANTS to make cats from any canon, they're available!

For Lyall, he's an only child, and his parents live in Iowa. Not likely to show up on the network. The only thing I can think of in his history could be, like... friends from school or maybe someone he went on, like, one really awkward date with from an online dating site? XD I dunno man, he doesn't get out much :B

Well, there's always the opportunity to be one of Sasame's many, many ex-girlfriends! I've been vague on most of them, other than the fact that he's had a lot of them. Some probably would've only lasted a few weeks, some might've lasted much longer. Some would be messy break-ups, some would've been a much more amiable split. Choose your own adventure, I guess!

This is also a long shot, but I was veeeery vague about Sam's dad on purpose because I thought it might be fun if he was a fellow reincarnate. Sam knows nothing about him, although he assumes his dad is a deadbeat since his mom avoids talking about him and the only evidence he even existed is...well, Sam. It could've also just been that his mom never told his dad about Sam, too, maybe after a messy break-up or just a one night stand. Sam's 20, and I assume his mom was in college when she had him, so anyone younger than 38 or so wouldn't really work.

...Yeah, like I said, long shot, but I figured I'd offer!

For Joshua Christopher, there's already the options I mentioned on his OOC intro post today. Other than those...Joshua's parents are NPC'd and he's an only child, so those wouldn't work, but his parents probably have siblings, so aunts/uncles/cousins/grandparents are all possibilities.

Well, I've got Toushirou's family pretty comfortably established: no siblings, dead parents, mom was an only child, dad's family is back in Japan. Granny is basically what he's got, and I'd kind of prefer she remain NPC.

Toushirou isn't the most social, but as far as acquaintances? He's on his school soccer team, so there may be other members of that, as well as coaches or other support staff. He's a noticeably gifted student, so if there are any potential middle-school teachers out there, they might recognize him and vice-versa. Also, he's small for his age and kinda bratty, so he's had some issues with bullies, if anyone's got a more mean-spirited youngster out there.

Kenji would probably have a conniption, but I'd love it if his little sister turned up on the network. About all I've established for her is that her name is Midori, she goes to middle school, and she totally kicks her big brother's ass at video games. Also, their family just moved to Locke City about eight months ago, so like Kenji, she'd be fairly new to the area. Other than that, it's pretty open!

We already sorta started discussing this, but Ms. Overachieving Jailbait Prodigy here probably has a crush on the casanova college student, whether they've actually spoken or not. Want to do anything with that?

Anthony's immediate family consists of nothing but two caring but workaholic parents both in educationally-related professions, while he also has quite a host of relatives, including one married aunt and several cousins he was particularly close to when he was small, mostly Catholic and some not living too far from Locke City, others making their home in Europe, notably France. Agreeable, well-read, and eager-to-please as he is, he was also a bit of a teacher's pet in elementary and much of middle school and has a respectable number of friends among the more good-natured peers he's had over his school career, and been picked at a bit by the less-so.

Cinderella, meanwhile, never spent much time around other ponies growing up, and hasn't met many humans apart from her masters - Jeremy and Pearl Bell, who are rich and in advertising and marketing and the former of whom is from a family of animal enthusiasts, and their two children, almost-nine-year-old girly Linda and six-year-old Michael - and her breeders, a married equestrian couple, the man in which is Jeremy's brother. I wouldn't mind any of them turning out to be a reincarnate if the image fit anyone else's potential character - though I could most easily see, say, Linda being Sweetie Bell.

Finally, Shawn has probably caught the amusement and frustration of several people. Classmates and teachers both past and current may recognize him, said teachers probably not especially fondly. He is an only child and has (fairly divorced parents; his mother, I haven't especially defined, although I imagine that the split on her end would have been at least partly motivated by vexation with how excessively patient her husband was with their son, while his father owns a ramen house and is a bit sternly encouraging - while I imagined him with Ken Doi in mind, he could be anyone who would fit, although I'd say a character whose reincarnation had wayward or unruly offspring would be most wildly welcomed for the sake of parallelism!

Anyone and everyone is welcome to know Chris from undergrad or grad school or even high school. She teaches part-time at Locke City University, mostly programming and maths.

Hajime's an only child and only really has had Souji for a friend, so about all that leaves him with are parents - though if anyone wanted to do that I would welcome it, especially because he's felt so incredibly awkward about trying to cover up that whole suddenly left-handed thing when he visits home.

They do live in Locke City, though on the other side of town from the university (hence why he got his own place closer to school). I haven't established much of anything about them beyond that they're upper middle class, and very much the strict YOU WILL TOP THE HONOR ROLL AND BECOME A DOCTOR X( type of parents, so there isn't really much in the name of warm fuzzies happening in this family.

Do you want to be part of a cold distant overly formal lineage of people who lineface a lot? If so, GET IN HERE AND COME TO MY ARMS.

Luca is an only child of a single mother, and since she came to the university from out of town (I don't have the state established but I was thinking somewhere like Iowa), family is unlikely. However, she's had a few relationships that broke off when she realized she just wasn't that into them, and she's probably got some assorted friends and acquaintances from school, so I'm always happy to figure out something along those lines.

This is not a character currently in the game, nope. But she's one I'm getting very tempted to consider! This is Tailmon/Gatomon from Digimon Adventure.

The reincarnated persona I have in mind for her is of a lady police officer who was raised by a lonely but strict widower. Though he would have been involved in her getting her first Echo as a child, a scar on the back of her hand, he does not need to be anywhere near as bad as Vamdemon, nor does the scarring need to be anything less than a total accident. All the same, I picture the two having a little dysfunction that contributed even if a little to her entering law enforcement, though again, their relationship isn't necessarily hateful.

Beyond that, I don't think she's dating, or even has many friends in Locke City. To excuse why she's had her number since she was a kid but hasn't used it since the network went live, I picture her having moved out of Locke once she was old enough, partly to get a break from her dad, thus forgetting about her number, and only recently moved back and joined the force. Maybe she could have a few old just-remembered childhood friends, though!

Dang, I have a muse who would actually fit really well and even be kinda hilarious for it since he's like the opposite of Colette and would end up being part demon. He even looks a bit like Colette with his blond hair and blue eyes. The character is Hugo Fact from Ys Origin, here's a pic of him.

But am hesitant to app him because he's got a bit too much in common with Tamara personality wise, he's just a bit more snobby and his snark is more saying the blunt and honest truth in a humorous way and with a straight face (see this for an example). So that would end up being three characters for me with a tendency to be a troll. But I admit, I was a bit sad to have dropped him when I did from another game and him getting the echo to give him the demonic essence would be so mean because he would go nuts like he did in canon and I've always wanted to play that out.

If you like the idea, I'll definitely consider it, but have to canon review again (which I have no issue with, it's one of my favorite games).

Possssible former dating shenanigans with Rei. She'll be 20-21ish, a molecular biology undergraduate, sheltered and reserved, but not nearly as much as her original. I could see them sharing a general requirement course and getting to know each other if Sasame took the initiative. It would probably be her first romantic relationship that wouldn't last the whole semester because, at least on her side, she'd put more attention into her work than him. And, on her end, it would end calmly and act as an eyeopener to that part of life to her.

lmk if you're interested! I haven't apped her yet so I don't want to get too detailed.

By the way, I noted in my own comment above that I'd be open to the girl who got Tamara's services being a reincarnate. Since we didn't define much there that's pretty wide open as well other than being a messy enough breakup that she'd want poor Sasame to be hit with a virus and his reputation ruined. Also, would have to be within the past couple of years.

Mytho/Siegfried is an old child with 50s sitcom parents. Mom's a professional housewife who's an active volunteer in the community, dad's off working in an office all hours, home on the weekend to attempt to teach his bookworm of a kid how to play catch.

If anyone would want to pick up one of his parents, that would be awesome~

I definitely wouldn't mind Dick having bastard children. They'd have to be pretty young though. For reference, Dick is currently 31 in 2013 so do with that what you will.

As for Une, cousins or estranged half-siblings would be fun since her mother abandoned the family so it's plausible. :)

I am totally up for Any of Shou's relatives ending up being another reincarnated. He has a slew of relatives in the States thanks to his mother's side of the family, while his father has only one other sibling.

Both of his parents I have a good idea what they're like with his father being in finances and his mother a pianist. They meet in college while she was an exchange student and ended up totally falling for each other. For Shou's siblings, he has an older sister and a younger brother, both of whom are a bit more responsible than him. There are a couple cousins on his father's side with both being in college so maybe a transfer student or something? Anyways, anyone that Shou knows from school would be in the upper middle class or higher because kids with money tend to hang out together than kids without, though Shou's best friend is a kid from the wrong side of the tracks who totally gets Shou.

On his mother side, there are a whole slew of aunts, uncles and cousins. The uncle he works for is a small claims lawyer who has his own little office. His wife is a teacher in grade school so maybe Shou has been seen there picking her up in his fancy sports car. They're a hard working middle class family with a couple kids of their own - probably teens. His other cousins range in age with the oldest I think being about three years older than Shou and the rest range from young teens to college. His mother had two sisters and a brother and the brother is the one Shou's working for.

Shou himself has had a lot of dating going on in his life. He started figuring out girls at the tender age of twelve, though he doesn't stick with just one woman at all. He has had maybe four serious relationships with one almost hitting marriage but something made him stop the engagement before going back to his fun. There hasn't been anything serious with guys, though he has messed around.

I think that's it unless something more comes up.

Yes! I'd definitely like to do something like that! Sasame even canonically has a 14-year-old prodigy that has a crush on him (although she's more like Rei than Asuka but hey) so...yeah, this idea really amuses me.

What sort of classes has she been taking? Sasame's a Psychology major with a minor in music, so most of his classes deal with that (although it's possible they've taken a prerec together). He's also Mr. Social Butterfly so even if they haven't shared a class it'd be easy to assume she's at least seen him around somewhere.

ahaha WELP. It would be pretty awesome to have Robb's family end up on the network one way or another, wouldn't it?

- His mother, who is a schoolteacher and whose identity I left vague, is something of an expy of Catelyn Stark, but anyone else can apply. Basically, she's quite motherly and protective towards him and her class, and she's also willing to fight if her son is in any danger. idk, I just really want to see his mom, whoever she is, show up on the network so Robb can freak out because MOM NO GET OFF THE NETWORK.
- Robb also has quite a few aunts and uncles (possibly two on his mother's side and two on his father's), none of which he keeps in contact with very much. It's a different story for some of his cousins, though.
- I talked about a girl who he played with back when he was younger and his dad was still alive! She's a bit of an expy of Arya, in that she's headstrong and stubborn. She moved away like years ago, but she can totally come back to Locke City.
- He has lost touch with a lot of people over the years, lbr, he'd be very much surprised to see them on the network again.

Grantaire I am working on rn, but he definitely hits up the bars a lot! He also has shitty grandparents, idk if I'm going to let his mother live or kill her off, but she's definitely French who moved to America to follow her dreams and fell in love with an American and then they married and got Grantaire. She was the one who influenced Grantaire's love of art.

Korra is the second of three children, and she's got a strict but loving dad and a lenient and loving mother, but they're both abroad so she and her siblings are being raised by her uncle and his wife and their three (rambunctious and rowdy) kids in a household where "strict" doesn't really work all that well WELP poor Tenzin expy. Basically, a lot like canon, without the Avatar thing coming into play. COME APP ONE OF THESE GUYS.

Oh, I think that's a great idea! I can see Sasame being curious about her and wanting to get to know her and things going from there. He's the sort of person that can want to be attached at the hip (metaphorically) with anyone he's dating, too, so I can see Rei's focus on school work over him causing issues with him. I think he could definitely end it peacefully without too many hard feelings though.

Already mentioned this on your thread but yeah, this sounds like a great idea to me! I do have some ideas for an NPC if we hit the point of that being revealed before another player claims it, but it'd be totally fun to have her show up on the network, too!

Mineva's only relations include:

- Her father, a widower who's buried himself in work following his wife's death and is mostly an antisocial recluse now.
- Her uncle she lives with, Garman. You guys remember Garma, right?
- There's her aunt as well, Ingrid Burne. Yes they got married in this incarnation, damn it.
- I've not given her any nieces or nephews - or at least she's yet to speak of them. If anyone wanted to app in as those, they're welcome!
- She likewise has an aunt and uncle, Gideon and Cecilia. Like Garma, I modeled them after the preincarnation aunt and uncle of Mineva's but hell, anyone is welcome to play these two.

I'm also happy to consider people who know:
- Zenith Publishing, the company Audrey's father runs, or Zion, the publishing company her aunt and uncle run.
- Locke University students who may know Audrey. She skipped her last year of highschool (she's been private tutored, never in a regular school) and went directly into college.
- Other music majors. Audrey plays the violin and is naturally part of Locke University's orchestra. She likely sits in at least second or third chair, if not first. Music is her real passion in life.
- Other rich kids. Seriously, if your parents hob knob with the elite, they likely know Audrey's father, aunt or uncle.
