Why hello there!

Cesar will remember him, though obviously for different reasons: he's one of the proofs Cesar has been dealing with of how dangerous the world is for Numbered. Also, Cesar's brother is currently missing (kidnapped), and Cesar himself is privately haunted by the idea that the brother is going through anything similar to Reagan. It's one of the reasons he wants to see him be saved, aside from the up front 'hey it's a person in trouble'; he's hoping that if anyone finds his brother, they'd do the same for him.

(Freaking Salazars. This won't be the last the network hears of them, trust me.)

Well, Emil's got some powers that Torin is fairly certain can be easily abused for evil, and this concerns him because Emil doesn't strike him as having the proper outlook on things for this sort of power. (Short version: kid needs to think more about others, clearly needs guidance, enjoy stubborn mentor-parrot.)

I had no idea how close to home that hits for him! Cesar, you precious thing! Yeah, I don't know who'll post as soon as they're all in the clear - whether it's Reagan or someone else, but I'm sure I'll have a post or log not far into May where we should crash into each other more!

He seriously wants to wrap her up in bubbles and never let her out. There are people on the network that can handle themselves and then there are people who are on the network that he wished he could protect but knows that they have skills that would work best for the group as a whole. He is not sure about her echoes yet, but he seriously has this fatherly urge to protect her from the dangers around them, but he also understands if he starts acting like a father around her, she would probably hide away from him which would probably be worse to him. He cannot protect her if he cannot help her in any way.

So expect some rather cute friendship stuff and checking up on her and all sorts of brotherly kind of things as he tries to not be overly protective.

We definitely should! There's actually a ton of stuff that's come up for him recently that I plan to pour into the next game-wide plotting post (and may gush about on plurk beforehand, if I can't contain myself), so we'll definitely have opportunities.

Okay so I know I've said this before but I seriously adore these two. When Nick first commented on one of Anthony's posts, it was definitely in a "trying to learn more about the network and deal with these pulses" kind of way. I don't think he ever would have imagined they'd be where they are now, but somewhere along the way he got really attached to the kid, and now he thinks of him as family.

The majority of the time, Nick ends up feeling like he's walking this really fine line of trying to protect Anthony and treat him like a kid/teenager - because despite what Anthony's been through and how mature and precocious he seems, Anthony still is one - and trying to encourage Anthony to get out there and do things, and trusting him with the same things Nick would with an adult. He also feels like he has no idea what he's doing here and he's not equipped to handle any of this, but damn it, he wants to try.

Right now he's kind of in the mindset that he might not always succeed, but it's the trying that counts, right?

But really, I love how their CR has developed and I can't wait to see where it goes.

Xander's impression of Bill so far is that he seems to be a forward and caring man, seen by his actions during the Wise Snake event. Even if he didn't seem to approve of Xander's dismissal about his injury or the fact that he lied about getting medical attention afterwards, he can tell that Bill prefers honesty. He also believes he might have landed up on the negative side of the relationship status due to what he has said and done.

For one thing, it is hard to have a serious conversation in a bathroom. Hajime's pretty sympathetic to Emil's monsterdom; he can understand a bit of defensiveness there. He's not going to try to pry too much, but he's going to try to keep an eye on Emil if he can. Monsters have to stick together, and he'd like to think he can stop anything really awful from happening if stuff gets bad. (He can't judge if it does; he almost killed someone once when his own instincts got away from him.)

Okay starting with the easiest one because his feelings for the Dians are so clear cut.

As far as he's concerned, Isaac and Miria are the closest thing to a family he's ever had. They're the first people who've ever supported him or considered him to be worth their time. (So Mrs Harvent? Let me tell you he will never *not* be upset about how she talks about them.) He only wants to help them. Unfortunately, he doesn't necessarily have the skills to do anything of use for them. Which includes helping them in their fight oops.

And despite the fact that he does crave the affection they give him, Jacuzzi feels nothing but guilt at craving it. He feels selfish and needy because he wants them to love him. He feels like a bad person because he can't fix all their problems. Most of all he's terrified they're going to figure out he's worthless and turn him away.

But!!! He smiles more around them. He's had fewer panic attacks than he's had in years since he's come to live with them. He genuinely feels like he can be something around them.

It's all very conflicted. They're good for him. He thinks. But he's bad for them.
