Melissa has no idea how she'd deal with this network shit without Nick. He's really the main reason she, however reluctantly, sided with the network initially, and having someone to bounce off their very similar echos off of has helped a lot. Not to mention that he's her gossip buddy and occasionally the person she'll mope at.

SO HI I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THIS until I finally got to tagging tonight and wanted to flail uselessly at you about how much I adore Melissa and Nick. And then realized OH RIGHT this meme!

But yes their relationship is absolutely perfect and Nick is so selfishly glad she ended up on the network. Not only because she's one of his best friends, but because they're going through very similar things both in their work life, their personal life, and even in their past lives, and it's so nice having someone who understands.

It's never felt like they were from different canons to me, I still catch myself thinking of them as castmates all the time, and I love that so much, man.

Melissa is so, so grateful to have Eugen around. She's kind of upset he's on the network because of what it means, but... it's also nice to know they've got each others backs, even in this. He can be super sweet, but it's genuine and it's counteracted by their snarking so she knows it's because of how close they are. Basically, best friends forever, and fuck any virgin versions of her that try to make it weird.

Weirdly serious kid is weirdly serious. Melissa doesn't think that's good for kids- though she is an adult who in many ways is not grown up enough, but details. She doesn't blame him for not trusting her (she probably wouldn't), but it is a little annoying that he's a brat about it. She would at least pretend to be nice, if only to throw people off. Geez, Toushirou. Learn how to be a manipulative sneaky person.
