CR TL;DR Meme

A new season, a new cast, a new and/or advanced brace of friend- and foe- (and other-)ships.

Ken is kinda like the kid brother Matt never had but always wanted. It's kind of lonely being an only kid, even if you're from the city. He never had anyone to give pointers on teachers like his friends had, and he never had anyone to teach how to do anything like his friends did.

His parents were just really busy people and raising Matt was hard enough on them so he never had that and you had better believe his emotions for ken were instant attachment. The kid barely knows how to smile. He feels a great deal of brotherly affection for Ken. He wants to help him and genuinely likes him and sees his effort to try to be good.

He feels a lot of guilt over not being able to protect Ken from the past--from Personas, or October 4th or the Great Seal. He blames himself that he couldn't stop Ken from remembering these things, and he wishes he had a way for ken to forget, even if it meant forgetting him, too. Of course he does not realize this happened in canon and it was balls.

More than anything Matt just wants to protect him. From the aliens, from the echoes, from all the bullshit. And he can't seem to find a way between Ken and the bad shit. And in part he thinks he's becoming part of the bad shit 8(

I am glad Ken was able to be little bro to him as i was rereading an old thread and found this and smiled.
