No, really in all seriousness, Ariel finds herself relaxing around him when she normally wouldn't with other people. Makes her happy to have someone she feels she can trust. Plus it's fun to bond over archery!

Ariel is cool with Julien! He is one of her bros and probably the first friend she made in Locke when she arrived with her family last fall. Ariel has difficulty making close friends so it means a lot to her to have someone like Julien around!
