CR TL;DR Meme

A new season, a new cast, a new and/or advanced brace of friend- and foe- (and other-)ships.

I think they'll get along great! I don't know anything about Cesar or Gen Rex (to my great shame!) but they've got that same mix of playful, wry humour and sort of heartfelt seriousness underneath -- and skimming your app tells me they're both questionably moral despite good intentions so that should be interesting!

So we should definitely tag more, yes. Did you have a particular thing you desired?

That's a really good way of describing those characters, just fyi. Also yeah, questionable morality is definitely a term we can use to describe both in-game Salazars right now. For Cesar's part, his NPC older brother has been kidnapped, and he's in a place right now where he's able to do anything it takes to keep him safe. If it weren't the last week of school right now I'd be doing a whole bunch of stuff with this right now, but it'll have to wait until after the chaos dies down.

As far as things these two can do: I'm actually not very familiar with Merlin (orz), and I'm not up to date what you've been doing with Emrey here, but I see he has fire powers! Cesar is going to be doing some fire-magic testing with Karl at some point, so maybe he'd be going around poking at any fire magic in general at this time? I'm planning to echo back either some science-y knowledge or Cesar's hunger for research, and both of those would contribute to him maybe wanting to pick thoroughly at new things. Would Merlin be interested in showing Cesar some tricks?

Merlin can be sort of summed up by 'is told destiny, tries to forcibly change future, fucks things up a lot, tells a lot of lies 'to protect people', cries a lot because his life is terrible'.

But on the bright side he doesn't remember most of that at the moment so it's not so bad.

On the flip side, though, he's still a little skittish as a person and has sort of been denying he has any 'interesting powers' so to get him to admit it he'd need to feel safe or be caught out or something. It's doable, it'd just need planning!

Hahaha, sounds enjoyable.

We have two options, then: Either for him to start feeling safe around Cesar, or to be caught out! If Cesar catches him out, he's going to be faced with Cesar getting his nerd on unless he can calm down a little before actually confronting him about it. Does Merlin ever use his powers out where people might be able to see?
