A new season, a new cast, a new and/or advanced brace of friend- and foe- (and other-)ships.

Unfortunately, we haven't had all that much CR yet, so Misato doesn't have a firm impression of you quite yet. She does plan on following up with some more information once she has it.

He does seem a lot more level-headed than some of the people she's engaged on the network. Though honestly, given some of the CR she's gotten from people over the network, that should come as no big surprise.

Was there anything in particular you wanted to do with Misato?

First your smart-ass comment about her giving out her telephone number, then your smarmy reply to her post about her killing her adorable little penguin? SERIOUSLY SOMEONE SHOULD TEACH YOU SOME MANNERS, WERE YOU RAISED BY WOLVES?

I love their negative CR and would totally like for them to meet in person at some point. How that would happen is totally unclear. I have no idea how an in-person interaction between these two would go.

SO HOW ABOUT THAT "STEP-SON" OF YOURS

Misato is terrified (OKAY MAYBE NOT TERRIFIED, BUT SHE'S DEFINITELY NOT PREPARED) that she might actually be this kid's stepmom or have some sort of weird relationship with him. A part of the reason why she's so gung-ho about him and Rei coming over is that she's hoping to trigger some Echoes so she can get confirmation either way.

OTHER THAN THAT, he seems like a pretty sweet kid. A little shy, maybe, but sweet. And considering how many smart-ass teenagers she'd had to deal with on the network so far, well.

That's really saying something.

Misato thinks Ryuko's a little weird (in part thanks to the comments about her eating Pen-Pen), but she's definitely a lot cooler than some other high schoolers she's engaged on the network (see: the bluenette up above!).

I know you said you wanted to have some CR with Misato -- did you have anything you wanted to do in particular? I love your Ryuko and it'd be a real treat for me to get to play with you again.

Sorry for the delay! I've really been slacking this week.

Misato has a lot of feelings about Anthony. On one hand, he definitely makes her feel better about her scar. On the other, she feels bad about it, too, because wow, how terrible of her to even feel better about herself because he looks worse than she does?

She's really curious to see what he looked like before now, but can't bring herself to ask him about it, either. It seems kinda... insensitive, you know?

She does want to help bolster his confidence. She feels a little uneasy when he starts stammering and stuttering, which is most of the time. Even though she doesn't know him all that well, she feels responsible for him somehow.

She also wonders about his parents.

In any case, that's all the feelings that come to me immediately. You have anything you'd like to do with their CR?

George kinda reminds her of one of her many boyfriends she had back in high school. Stubborn and strong-willed and all that jazz. She had an easier time dealing with it in high school because she was just as hard-headed as he was. Now she's a little less patient with it. There's a good chance that Misato'll blow up at him if he keeps up the whole "tough guy" routine.

That said, Misato'd really like to get George to open up because she believes (rightly or wrongly) that the self he shows to everyone is more of a facade than anything.

I'm really looking forward to seeing where things go between these two.

UM, their CR might be new, but it was pretty focal in changing the way Misato looked at things, specifically with regards to the network.

Before she interacted with Rakka, she wasn't all that concerned about taking any of this seriously. It was only when she learned about Rakka's situation that she realized that some people out there are really having a hard time and maybe she really should take this more seriously.

I definitely want to have Misato follow up with Rakka regarding the whole parents thing, though because she's totally a nag. Did you have anything specifically you'd like to do with this CR?

Aww, that's nice of her. Good to see that Rakka is brining out the good in people.

I'd love to follow up on that whole mess sometime, and turn it into another mess! And just more interactions between them would be great.

Man, where do we even start?

Misato was really taken aback by the whole wing thing. And the whole hand and feet thing, too. In person, he definitely looked a whole lot weirder than he did on the network.

But... it turns out you shouldn't judge by appearances! She actually thinks he's a really nice guy. Friendly and outgoing, too. If it weren't for the whole bird transformation thing, she'd wonder how he didn't have a girlfriend.

I also really like having her send him random text messages, so I hope you don't mind that though I haven't done one lately. You had any special place you'd like to see our CR go?

Awww! Yeah, he's really something to get used to. and it really amuses me how it's only now, in the last few months, that he's been making friends with people who think he's kinda cute.

I don't mind at all! And as for places - well, it would be cute if they kissed at some point, even if it was just as a test. /laughs Otherwise I don't really have plans in mind. I like the rapport they've got going now, it'd be interesting to see how that changed.

Misato actually thinks he's a pretty nice guy. Maybe a little weird, but she's yet to find anyone perfectly normal on the network, anyway. She was also really touched by the whole 'selfless anime shit' comment, even though Misato'd never be caught dead watching the stuff.

I really enjoyed that whole thread, actually. I totally just re-read it, too.
