Neku is a strange friend in that he always seems kind of distant, despite how often they talk. Neku never shares as much, or emotes as much, as Danny expects, and it used to be kind of off-putting, but he's gotten used to it. He thinks Neku's just the quiet not-feelings-talky type.

Still, he considers Neku a real, proper pal. He still appreciates Neku's effort to help him dye his hair, even if it ended in total failure. Hell, the two of them kidnapped a girl together and defended her from a murderer. You know you're tight after something like that, that's the shit of relationship transformations. You are TRUE BLUE, buddy.

...Even if Danny still doesn't know what Neku's thinking half the time.
