I know so little about interfaith work but that is super interesting, and I would absolutely be game to make this connection. L practices unreliably and in a way that's frustrating for the truly devout to witness (he falls in and out of going to synagogue, is vague about confirming that he actually believes in God, but is very stringent and particular about eating Kosher, etc), but lately he's been happier, and he has been going more regularly and has recently reconnected with a lot of the community he fell out of touch with in his late teens.
