[test] THIS WEATHER IS RIDICULOUS

Random scenario test drive meme. Some prompts:
> Ah god it's so hot and muggy how awful!
> The worst thing about summer cold snaps: you don't usually have your windbreaker handy because it's been so damn hot.
> The wind is perverse and trying to steal your things and/or crash stuff into you.
> It's raining wet vermy-things, as if the hail and possible storm wasn't bad enough. Now you have rain-echoes to deal with, at best.
> A nice day? I guess those exist?
So where are you?
> Caught way out in the open! At the beach, in the steet, at a fair, anywhere.
> Taking shelter! Bus stop, club you wouldn't normally frequent, bridge underpass, any port in a storm, any shade from the deathsun.
> In the mall or somewhere comfortably out of the elements, you lucky sunuvanek.
> Somewhere... else? idk, do what you want!
Have at thee!
Nepeta Leijon | Homestuck
She's gone seeking out a sheltered bus stop with her jacket removed and over her head. She feels rainwater soaking it through and weighing it down, and her arms are fr-r-reezing, but at least it'll keep her hair and her shirt dry as long as it needs do!
She scrambles straight under the overhead once she reaches the bus stop, falls back onto the bench, and pulls her legs up, hugging them to her - she'd gone out in shorts today.]
Br-r-r!
I thought it was gonna be warm!
[There's a little of a betrayed whine in her voice.]

and then she notices Norah. the other girl looks incredibly miserably and rather lacking in fondness for the downpour, so of course Hikari can't resist making her day just a little worse. with practiced nonchalance she sidles up to the bench like any normal fellow passenger would - and then shakes her umbrella out over Norah's head, angled to send the cascades of water into all the places that are probably still dry]

Norah "Eek - !"s displeasure and throws her hands above her head too late, and drops them to paw water drops out of her hair, scrambling off the bench, away from the bother -
which, as sense kicks back in, she's aware is already over with.
Very funny of you!
She turns around, leaning in a tad and crossing her arms - extra tightly, urrgh changing her position has allowed her to get all freshly cold - and, with a little hint of something like a pout, searches the girl in the very cute attire with the umbrella. That was all in good fun. Right?]

Oh! My apologies. I thought you were a tasteless art installation.
[and with that she sits down right where Norah had been. yeah, she just soaked you and took your seat. whatchu gonna do about it?]

You have to check all day sometimes. The storm just popped up on us all of a sudden. [She laughs and holds out the napkin] Sometime I think this city has its own weather patterns.

Eyes big, head slightly tilted. And a little bloom of good cheer inside gets her beaming - ha, how can anyone not smile at such a nice surprise as stumbling on a bit of unexpected friendliness after letting themselves get all miserable?
A giggle in her voice as she accepts the napkin.] Ooh, thank you! [Sets to her arms around the sleeves, moving on to her legs and her knees, moving on to get what last bit of good she can out of it dabbing her socks around the ankles, all the while continuing, still grinning - the wetness is anything but foremost on her mind now.] Yea-a-ah.
It's still pretty sucky when it's the middle of July, though! I just wanna hang out! Then it gets all like this and pretends like it's not supposed to be summer! [Still a little of a whine. Now, however, it's fainter, self-aware and playful.]
