[With the torrential downpour going on, its almost a wonder that anyone would still be standing outside, even if this particular man happens to be standing under an overhang just outside of the local church. He looks odd, like he doesn't quite belong there with his large shoulders, strong jaw, and slight blonde five o'clock shadow. The building's doors are open, heat blazing to give shelter to those chilled by the sudden cold snap raining down upon them. Arthas himself has a table of towels and blankets behind him in the foyer and it appears that the overhang isnt quite enough to keep him completely dry with the wind blowing.

But it doesn't stop him from trying to encourage those trying to rush home to take a moment to rest. He appears friendly and also takes the time to wave and extend his hand to invite anyone running by.]

Hold, stranger! There is no need to strain yourself. Take a moment's rest -- we have a bit of food as well, if you are famished.

[ Surprisingly (or not so much), Jaina doesn't gravitate far from his side. While she's not actively recruiting strangers out from the rain, the woman does keep a watchful eye on them as if she was paranoid of them. If called on it, she'll just smile and brush it off as the weather at fault for her sullen demeanor.

Still, she lingers close and closer to him as the day goes on. ]

Shouldn't you rest some? [ He's been working so hard, hasn't he?

It seems that way to her at least. ] It would be good for you.

[He pauses after handling a passerby a towel to spare Jaina a glance and a knowing smile.]

This is hardly exhausting work.

[Faintly aware that his hair is starting to stick to his eyes, he shakes a little and moves a hand to brush it away, doing his best not to get Jaina wet in the process.]

Besides, it was my idea. It wouldn't do to have someone do my job for me.

[ Teasingly adding on: ] You've monopolized the only task left and you seem to be holding onto it for dear life.

Well I guess that is rather selfish of me, isn't it?

[His smile is slightly apologetic as he turns to face her more readily, reaching up to push some blonde hair out of his eyes.]

I wouldn't mind a bit of company. The people coming in never stay long to chat, considering where I've stationed myself. But if you would prefer, I will leave the task to you for a bit.

I'll stay nearby if you will have me.

[ Not that it needs to be said: she knows he will. Still, there's the illusion of giving him a choice of sending her away all while she looks towards another group passing by. ]

It isn't difficult at all for you to change a man's mind on his beliefs, is it?

[He makes a face, a little embarrassed.]

I don't know if I would go that far, Miss Proudmoore.

[ Showering him with praise is something she's come to enjoy if only for that look. ]

I could point a man out and dare you. Within minutes they would be knelt at the altar all thanks to you.

[A blush creeps into his cheeks and he looks uncomfortable. Receiving compliments is not his strong suit.]

[ As if she's any better with giving them. Now she thinks she's said something awkward as she looks away. ]

It has nothing to do with me.

[He's insistant on that point and rolls his shoulders uncomfortably, only to notice she's looked away, causing him to raise an eyebrow. For all the years they've been friends, he will never understand her.]
