[the usual thing would be to just ignore the stalled car and the person under the hood. it wasn't a good area, and people have been known to get jumped by people pretending to be stranded. but for retired sergeant Peaceful Sky Summers - once known by the name Cloud Strife in a world far away - but now called Peace by a few close friends and Summers by everyone else, not helping would be wrong.

also he could probably handle anything any ridiculous thief would toss at him.

so, have a built forty-something man on a tricked out motorcycle stop and approach her slowly. he won't remove his sunglasses though since his eyes actually have been glowing the past two weeks and he really doesn't want people to freak out by the glow.]

[ At the voice, Mara bangs her head against the propped-up hood. She turns, about to say that hell no excuse you, but shuts up at the sight. Maybe because admittedly, yeah, she does need help. ]

Uh, yeah, I think so. Not actually sure what the hell's it's problem. Just died on me, won't start.

[ She gestures to the car with all the ugh she can muster, because none less can describe how she's feeling about now. ]

[yup, he was a mechanic, though usually he worked on bikes but every vehicle has a few common approaches towards fixing them. so, he take a look under the hood and test a few wires and hoses to make sure they were firmly attached like they should be.]

Rattled a bit. But it does that everyday, so I figured it was normal.
