[test] THIS WEATHER IS RIDICULOUS

Random scenario test drive meme. Some prompts:
> Ah god it's so hot and muggy how awful!
> The worst thing about summer cold snaps: you don't usually have your windbreaker handy because it's been so damn hot.
> The wind is perverse and trying to steal your things and/or crash stuff into you.
> It's raining wet vermy-things, as if the hail and possible storm wasn't bad enough. Now you have rain-echoes to deal with, at best.
> A nice day? I guess those exist?
So where are you?
> Caught way out in the open! At the beach, in the steet, at a fair, anywhere.
> Taking shelter! Bus stop, club you wouldn't normally frequent, bridge underpass, any port in a storm, any shade from the deathsun.
> In the mall or somewhere comfortably out of the elements, you lucky sunuvanek.
> Somewhere... else? idk, do what you want!
Have at thee!

Her mind starts clicking away as she searches her own pockets for her camera. The headlamp strapped around her head provides a bare beam of light that can only do so much in such a gloomy place.
If it's making noise then it had to be a poltergeist of some sort. She hadn't run into one of those in a long time. Or... well, ever maybe. The last time was a bit dubious anyhow.
The footsteps seem to be growing closer though so she poises at the ready, creeping forward carefully. The open doorway into this room proved beneficial in this instance and the moment the footsteps got close enough, Maria herself swung around the corner of the doorway as well.
And promptly runs straight into something very-not corporeal. With a noise she trips back a step or two and then boom, there goes her rear meeting the ground. And kicking up a lovely cloud of dirt and dust while she's at it.]

With a very manly exclamation of surprise he stumbled back a step, almost tripping over a covered chair himself but managing to keep his balance.
He shines his light through the dust cloud, trying to catch a glimpse of who or whatever he'd hit, half-expecting some unspeakable spectre from beyond the grave only to find a... girl. The hell was she doing here?]
Hey, you okay?
[He moves forward, waving away the dust that got into his face and reaches down to offer her a hand.]

She seems to barely not the hand before she finally reaches out for it. A cough or two accompany her standing up.]
I'm fine, I'm fine!
[She begins violently beating dust off of her rear now, not noting the askew headlamp for a few minutes.]
What are you-- ah.
[You don't mind being momentarily blinded by the light, yeah, Harry? She flusters and is quick to snap it off at least.]
Sorry, sorry, sorry. ... What was I saying?

I think you were asking what I was doing here, but I'm beating you to it. What are you doing here?
