[test] THIS WEATHER IS RIDICULOUS

Random scenario test drive meme. Some prompts:
> Ah god it's so hot and muggy how awful!
> The worst thing about summer cold snaps: you don't usually have your windbreaker handy because it's been so damn hot.
> The wind is perverse and trying to steal your things and/or crash stuff into you.
> It's raining wet vermy-things, as if the hail and possible storm wasn't bad enough. Now you have rain-echoes to deal with, at best.
> A nice day? I guess those exist?

So where are you?
> Caught way out in the open! At the beach, in the steet, at a fair, anywhere.
> Taking shelter! Bus stop, club you wouldn't normally frequent, bridge underpass, any port in a storm, any shade from the deathsun.
> In the mall or somewhere comfortably out of the elements, you lucky sunuvanek.
> Somewhere... else? idk, do what you want!

Have at thee!

[ She picks at the fringe on her backpack, shrugging a bit. ]

We don't own a TV. I just use the internet to check the weather. I thought that was what all the cool people did! You can get most news shows and TV series online for free.

[Francis has to force himself not to scoff at the young lady so blatantly insulting him.]

Pardon me, but I simply prefer to keep the news on the telly in the mornings. I'm perfectly capable of getting the weather on my phone as well! I hope you don't mistake me for one of those in my generation who can't keep up with the technology of the ages!

[He's very proud of his Android phone, he paid quite a bit for it!]

[ She shakes her head at the suggestion of insult, putting her hands up in a very classic "whoa man chill" gesture -- palms out, in front of her chest. ]

No, no way! I'm just...really fascinated! Everyone who lives like normal people in movies is so groovy.

[ She did just say that. ]
dancingonapin: (You have a point.)

[Wait, people say groovy? There are people who actually say groovy, who completely and entirely mean it...? Even he wasn't old enough to have ever said groovy in his lifetime...

Maybe it was a trend coming back into style.....]

... I suppose you're right that watching television is something most people aren't really doing anymore. I wouldn't go so far as to say I live as though I'm in a movie, however.

[He's really not that entertaining.]

Ah, are you a student at the university? A freshman, I presume?

[ Or maybe she was just a very silly girl who did a lot of silly things like say 'groovy'. ]

[ In response to his question, she nods, enthusiastically. ]

Mhm-! Science. I want to go into environmental engineering, but my parents are so lame -- they think I should just quit and join the family business.
