[test] THIS WEATHER IS RIDICULOUS

Random scenario test drive meme. Some prompts:
> Ah god it's so hot and muggy how awful!
> The worst thing about summer cold snaps: you don't usually have your windbreaker handy because it's been so damn hot.
> The wind is perverse and trying to steal your things and/or crash stuff into you.
> It's raining wet vermy-things, as if the hail and possible storm wasn't bad enough. Now you have rain-echoes to deal with, at best.
> A nice day? I guess those exist?
So where are you?
> Caught way out in the open! At the beach, in the steet, at a fair, anywhere.
> Taking shelter! Bus stop, club you wouldn't normally frequent, bridge underpass, any port in a storm, any shade from the deathsun.
> In the mall or somewhere comfortably out of the elements, you lucky sunuvanek.
> Somewhere... else? idk, do what you want!
Have at thee!
Jiro Takahashi (Ginko) | Mushishi
Where'd this come from, anyway?
[Seriously, it was nice and sunny ten minutes ago, this blew in out of nowhere. If he'd known this was coming, he'd have taken a cab or something... there aren't any here now, and no bus stops, so he's got little choice but to keep walking.]

Man the weather this year is messed up! So much rain...
[The transparent inner eyelids that fit in under his human eyelids are closed to keep water out of his eyes. They just make his eyes seem somewhat darker, whites and all. He's banking on the rain and his thoroughly droplet-covered glasses hiding them.]
fffff, pigeon
It's pretty weird, huh? Must be that global warming thing... though I think I'd prefer warm weather to this rain.
[Other than the white hair, he's pretty much a normal guy. And no, he doesn't notice the extra eyelids.]

[He looks up and makes the sound of a laugh. Julien can't actually laugh like a human anymore, but he can fake the sound.]
Wow, you'd think they'd put in more awnings here or something. Oh well!

This street could do with a few shelters, yeah. [He peeks up under the coat, flinching a little when rain hits him in the eyes.] ...maybe we should find a tree to shelter under until the worst of this passes.

[As if on cue...
Vermini are black puffballs like dandelion seed heads with tiny humanoid bodies at their cores. They squeak and dissolve into steam if killed or captured and don't normally drop out of the sky soaking wet to accidentally give echoes to whatever they touch, but here there's a spattering of them. The survivors roll about water-spiked.]
Ow! Oh, shit... [Julien hesitates, then makes to stomp on the one that bounced off him, clearly aware of what it is. Not that he's noticed but his hair, while still drenched, is not quite as flattened and the roots shine white.]
