SOUNDTRACK MEME 2: THE SOUNDTRACKENING



WOW WHO LOVES MUSIC I sure do. This meme is simple: post with your character. Other people post songs that they feel fit that character (preferably with links to somewhere you can listen to said songs) and maybe lyrics or some kind of justification

Once upon a time, a Japanese rockstar by the name of GACKT wrote a book and a screen play and roped in the help of fellow rockstar HYDE. This resulted in the movie Moon Child. The two rockstars also decided that they will act in said movie with GACKT playing Sho and HYDE playing Kei.

And they wrote this song together which their characters sing at odd moments of the movie:

Prayer - HYDE The movie is bittersweet in all it's campy glory. This song echos the lives of the two main characters, especially near the end when Sho goes on a suicidal attack against the biggest mob in the city.

Fragrance - GACKT Man, it's hard to find a clip of this song where he isn't being so hot, but anyways despite the music and the sensual way it sounds, the song is about a lost person singing his loneliness to the moon.
