[tea is excellent, actually. Though the really tall guy in a rumpled shirt and awkwardly loose tie looks pretty out of place. (His long hair is tied back with an actual rubber band [cringe] since he hasn't really bothered getting it cut since it grew suddenly about a week before.) Not to mention...he's wearing sunglasses. Indoors. Did he get stood up or something? Actually, he's eating one of those tiny cakes with surprising delicacy.]

[when one of the new waitresses passes him, however, she stumbles, apparently distracted enough by the sight of him to forget about her job for a moment. Without even looking up, his hand shoots out, steadying her tray for her. He glances away from his meal after a moment, though, appearing somewhat puzzled. The waitress stammers her thanks, moving on, and the man just sits there, looking at his hand.]
